  1. well.... we are supposed to have adsl here, but the novel client is old and doen't talk with the server too well, so therfore our internet connection is slow at times. Damn IT manager has a private ip adress at his computer, therfore he doesn't have the same problem.
  2. Yeh it has, and damn internet is so slow, pissing me off
  3. hey all... haven't been on here for a while. but now at work and supposed to be doing overtime.
  4. Matt, Thats what I wanted to do, but didn't have the time to do it myself before easter. Was going to offset the cost of installation and get a lightened flywheel. Maybe next time. Mike
  5. Did my clutch last week and found the prices everyone quoted last year (on this site) to be way outdated. My results are below; Nicks Clutch Service - (Doug) 3227 9403 - R32 gtr Nismo clutch organic plate (fits R33gtst) - $533 (clutch only) - Daiken Heavy Duty - $ (cannot find) ABS Brakes and Service - (Trevor) 3808 3533 - Daiken Exedy Heavy Duty Nissan Patrol Clutch - $500 fully installed - Daiken Exedy standard GTST clutch - $560 fully installed - Daiken Exedy Heavy Duty - $790 fully installed - Daiken Ecedy NHD - $850 fully installed - Installation and machining costs - $290 These guys were very helpful and give a 1 year warranty Slacks creek brake and clutch - 3808 8193 - Daiken standard - $580 fully installed Tried other places, but all quoted higher installation costs. I ended up going with the Exedy NHD and have found it to be good thus far. Haven't had a good chance to test it, but will soon. I cannot find the pressure plate ratings, so you will have to give these guys a call to find out. Hope this helps, Mike (PS. The nissan patrol HD clutch is identical to the skyline HD clutch, although the casing is not shatter proof. It fits and has the same clamping pressure as the skyline HD).
  6. about the leak into the boot issue - if your car is parked on a down hill slope, water pools just under the boot lid (where it is supposed to run out, but on a downhill slope cannot go anywhere). The pooling water slowly leaks through a join in the metal. Hope that helps to explain it. Well thats where mine leaked. Mike
  7. What brand are the BCPR7ES ?
  8. I just thought it was a one off thing. I noticed it on my way up to Gladstone. Was so utterly annoyed and it was very dangerous as everyone was racing to overtake, but when the merging takes place everyone is on their brakes so they don't run up the ass of the car in front. People also need to learn how to merge. All mighty frustrating.
  9. its not coolant but a brown coloured water. I has a bit of a smell to it too.
  10. I have a water leak in the passenger side foot well and am assumeing that it is a leak from the air con. I am hopeing that one of the hoses that may have been kicked or something like that and not connected properly. I am taking a look at it this weekend but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
  11. I decided to go with the silver paint around the dash. Comes up alright I think.
  12. I was hoping that wasn't going to be the case. I suppose I will just have to wait. ....... but I suppose doing a service early isn't a bad thing...... hm..... thanks guys.
  13. To adjust or not to adjust I have just installed my SAFCII and want to adjust the setting to lean out my air/fuel ratios. Can I use my past dyno graph as a guide to setting the SAFC? I don't want to over do it just lean it out a little for better performance. I am getting a tune with a service in around 2 months time, but I don't really want to wait until then. What do you think and how much should I adjust the settings?? thanks, Mike
  14. sorry - should have searched first - link below http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ight=safc+knock
  15. Mine does the same. Any ideas anyone???
  16. No - just a question tho
  17. Possible Question- Are mods like speed cut defenders illegal as they do not assist in the performance of the vehicle, but they allow higher speed for track days etc.
  18. If ever in the future I would be up for it. this week end is not good tho' but in the future would be ok. Have done a few weddings as well (although I don't want it to be known as a wedding car - it me sports car) Mike
