Fair enough thanks anyway. I have seen other 34 GTR's with a 4 after the BNR34, but i dont think that means that they are consecutive build numbers. Could anyone else please confirm this? I think PSYMON has a later version that can look this up...

Hi guys, I've decided to head to Japan, specifically Tokyo to visit family and hopefully find a nice R34 GTR while i am there. I am only there for a week. I was wondering if anyone could post some information on car dealerships that I should visit, and ones I shouldn't. Also, is it very difficult sending one back home myself? Or should I just contact an agent like J-Spec etc to organise shipment, payments etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for that. My only query is that the vin was off an R34 GTR Mspec Nur, but the search labels it a GTR/V2 as in Vspec 2. Is there something off here?

Hmmm thats a shame. It bothers me that it was whored for parts...i understand it was a 'spare' but i was hoping it never had to be used for that reason. Ive been looking to buy for a while and i have developed a keen eye with the R34's and i noticed the Nissan and GTR badge are in the wrong position (even if not by much) on the boot lid when looking at the pics, so it doesn't surprise me you mentioned it was replaced or used on a different car. I know its not a big deal but i guess im fussy with these things. It is still for sale on White Hot's website for $88k, so not sure whats going on there. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for that guys. I spoke to to him about a gtr he has and i found it a little concerning that he wouldn't sell it with a warranty because it is a "race car".
