  1. pretty easy to find. any auto place will have them, eg Autobarn, repco etc...
  2. Thinking about selling my plates but only if i get the right price. Just bought them about a month ago. VIC PLATES, One of each size, Black & White. GTT - 98 Obvioulsy fantastic plates for anyone with a 1998 R34. Ill have a think about what i might want for them and post it. If anyone wants to make a reasonable offer please PM me.
  3. That black pin shaped thing sticking out from the gauges. its gives u 3 options: Trip a Trip b ODO when its on trip a or b, hold down that pin until it resets back to 0. very simple.
  4. Must be new. Anyone know where i can find them in Melbourne?
  5. Local, the dealer i got it from had only just imported himself. I wanted this one becuase he was a RAWS member and this was his first 34 so it was his test car to get approved to compliance and sell 34's. It had to be 100% perfect because people come down from canberra and test it over and over to see if everything (including compliance) was done correctly and running right. IMO, buy local, and make sure the dealer is RAWS approved.
  6. ive heard of this aswell from another guy but dont know the answer...any explain??
  7. can you hear it when you turn of the car only? does it only sound for a second or 2?
  8. PM Maxx, i think he always has them available.
  9. i think he wanted more horsepower in his car...................... sorry.
  10. i like the 'eyeline'
  11. 34 GTT, preferbly new
  12. Basically its comes with the territory. Buy a Skyline be prepared for the unwanted attention. Unfortunatley some people have given us a bad name and we get stereotyped. But im sure you would agree its all worth it...
  13. where can i get another gasket for the turbo? autobarn? repco?
  14. how hard is it to install a front/dump pipe (BATMBL) and Cat by yourself or with a mate if i had stands?? anyone here done it??? ive got gaskets for between the cat and pipes, but would i need something for between the turno and dump?
  15. VB is exactly right. If you bought the car from a dealer, and depending how long ago you got it, go back and tell him that you want your xenon kit back! it was part of the car so its legally yours anyway but sometimes they try sell it back to you. if you cant do that, find someone that is wrecking a 34 and ask to buy the kit with the globes.
  16. is the rear bar just the factory standard? any pics?
  17. prob a stupid question but what you meen by defect station??? i used to go to marcellin, i drive by there a lot
  18. i posted in General Maintanence asking for a step by step guide but didnt get what i was looking for, i wanted every single step eg. warn up the car or do it when its cold? use distilled water only? what mixtures?? etc etc stuff like that, if anyone can help please let me know. Thanks.
  19. what about UPI in moorabbin? anyone been there? heard there pretty good. PM me if you dont want to say on the forum. also could anyone PM places where i SHOULD NOT GO?? Thanks.
  20. BATMBL stainless split front/dump, Catco hi flow cat. Blitz 3" Nur spec cat back. Looks and sounds awesome.
  21. yeah i want to do it myself, but im not 100% sure about flushing the coolant, thats why im looking for a place to help me out.
  22. Hi guys, its time to get the car serviced. im in the east of Melb and i need a place to get oil/coolant/spark plugs done etc... anyone recommend a place? i want to go to a place where i can trust them enough to return next time i need a service. i dont mind travelling too far.
  23. did you end up cutting the front bar to accomodate the slimline number plate? i have the same nismo bar and i could see from your older picture that you had the white plastic bit sticking out.
  24. I, disagree and recommend you get it stock. True that prob all have been thrashed, but also you have a better chance in finding a stock 33 that is in better mechanical condition than one that has been worked. If your in MELB, go see SSV (Southern Special Vehicles) in Oakleigh and speak to Peter, he has some really nice 33's. They are RAWS approved. Phil.
  25. i should only use distilled water?? what flushing agent do i use?? which coolant do you all recommend? Nissan stuff?
