Hi Guys, im looking for a step by step guide to flushing coolant, re filling etc. the whole deal. Did a search but cant find a guide. I noticed the coolant bottle was empty and i heard if you dont know what coolant you used before, using another when you top up could create a jelly and clog you radiator. anyone help?? Thanks.

for 20 - 25k your probably looking at a GTT (turbo) Tiptronic, or a GTT 4 door. Your a few thousand short of the Manual GTT Coupe. Non turbo you could get quite easily if you want to spend that much.

The guy that had it before me paid around $45 when he had it, i got it off him recently for that amount, so plus $5 delivery only for express post (which would prob be like $10 cos it would have to be a bigger bag because i wrap it inbubble wrap) i think is pretty fair.

also, it has 4x50watt output.

This is going to sound weird but try the stuff called BRASSO. Yep, thats right brass polish. I was as skeptical as you probably are but i tried on some scratched up plastic and i could not believe the results, came up like new! Basically put a little on a cloth, gently rub it in, then poilish it off, Try it, you'll be rapt.

my parkings flat. any possibility it could be your gauge? bad connection? this could be a good oppurtunity to see if someone has tampered behind your gauges, but i could imagine it would be a pain to get behind there anyway. sorry i cant help further mate.

double check this, but i think you have to lock the hicas because larger wheels 'confuse' it and make it think the wheels are slipping.

The problem has stopped. I think if your over fill past full (if that makes sense) will make the float in the tank give innacurate readings until you burn a little petrol.

Could be way off here, but wont it lose value (more than usual) if the engine and chassis numbers are different??

For the first time today, the fuel gauge has started playing up on me. Got in the car this morning, it was full. after work driving home it was halfway, then started to rise againe, then drop, then went to empty, then raise again to what it should be. Why would this happen? problem with the float or a one of thos things.

So my mate went to the BP servo to fill up. long story short he accidentally pumped about 2 litres of unleaded instead of premium (ultimate). he freaked out and then started to fill the rest until full with premium. will the 2 litres of unleaded affect his car at all? i said it wont but he wont beleive me so i thought i should ask you folks... what do you think??

this may be the cause.... before you turn off the heater do you put the temperature down?? even if the heater is off, you will still feel some hot air come through when you leave the temp up. if this is the case, then its normal.
