  1. Now... change "Jeff" to "Shaun" and that pretty much where I stand. Not going to start a "My tuner kicks ass and your's is shit and I want to pee pee in his eye" War here.... Never commented on jeff, nor will I, having never met the man, only seen/driven exapmles of his handywork. This is only going to end in a stalemate though, seeing as you are supported by Jeff/Speedlab, and Im supported by Shaun/Boostworx. Roshambo you for it?
  2. Agree to disagree Simon. Shauns been tuning my cars for years, and I wont go anywhere else. As for "Much better"......
  3. Im a fan myself. Look great on the 31..... except I just forked out a shitload for custom 4 stud wheels, and CBF'd converting to 5 stud. And they're waaaaay too poo offset for the guards I have to fill. And R34 Wheels are still one of the hottest wheels ever made.
  4. Arc welder, handful of nuts and bolts and a few hours of your time fixes that.
  5. ah k. You will need a FCD tuned through, need to set the 'cut' at the right point. Boostworx remaps are only $550 inc. labour, and Im sure a majority of the SA people use Shaun to tune, and can vouch for how good he is. And you get all those roads from NT to SA...
  6. Id be looking at getting a fuel pump too. Would rather see a Remap over a FCD, but I spose it can be tuned with some reliability....
  7. on R34? Id expect to see high 190's -low 200's with that on 13 psi or so. Why go the FCD out of curiosity?
  8. she needs to be drowned. f**king queer bitch. And Anti-Flag f**king rip!
  9. lol... Im not chasing more power now, Prolly gonna drive the car for 6-12 months and get used to / Refine the setup (Car hasnt been drifted yet) then Ill be upping the power to around 250 - 260 KW's at the wheels. RB25 box/twin plate/single piece tailshaft will be simply for reliability. And yes, it's gonna cost me a mint.
  10. LOL... it's so true. Im already planning my next round of mods once I get the whore painted and driving for a while. (HKS 2535, External Gate, RB25 Box, Twin plate etc.) Get a Walbro (GENUINE) pump, SARD fuel reg, Wind 14 PSI into it and remap to suit. Exact setup I have in my car. Have Boostworx Daughterboard in the ECU, just need to tune it. (Once again, waiting to paint). What's she making on 10psi? Mines making 180 odd on 8psi (Boostworx dyno) Shaun said to expect to see it crack 200 on 14.5psi.
  11. fuel pump before remap. You running boost controller? 10psi sounds like RB20 wastegate...
  12. 14psi Shouldnt let go on a 20. And will be enough to keep you amused for a while. As said, once you want more than that, starts costing a lot more cash. Stock brake setup will be fine with good pads/fluid. Running almost Identical setup, but with SARD fuel reg to jack a bit more fuel in.
  13. well, Going by your mod list in your sig, Id wind 14 psi into it and Remap the ECU. Then you start getting into aftermarket turbo/injectors/afm's, also GBox problems. What Braking/suspension setup are you running? And yes. This will ALWAYS happen./
  14. True.
  15. Completley random and offtopic, but by f**k does your avatar crack me up
  16. Kennards?
  17. Personally, I dont like the multispoke "Out to the lip" Design. I just think there's a lot better wheels you can put on a 33. And for the price you're gonna pay for the prodrives/JIC's, you can get a lot better set 2nd hand. What kind of fitment do you want? Sunken? Flush? Slightly mexican? What kind of guard work? Roll? Roll and slight flare? Heavy flare? overfender? all of this is going to play a part in how good you wheels and your car look. These are some of the wheels i think look great on a 33 R33 GTR (Must be slammed to look good though) R34 GTR Volk GT-C's in top secret Gold SSR Sp1's DT05R's in 18's.. or if you want multispokes... Gravity Gulflames... Most of these wheels are Under $2000 a set, and come in good offsets and widths. Just some food for thought.
  18. it MAY take a little longer to warm up, but if you get a Good kit it'll have a thermostat, so it'll cycle like normal then open up and let oil into the cooler when it hits that temp. Id do an oil cooler before i did a radiator actaully.
  19. Do you want to keep the ricer valve on? If not, take it to Marky @ Exhaust Technology and get him to weld it up. Wont cost much, and It'll save you the hassle of having to find another one.
  20. 245's all round, Remove plastic guards, Hammer lip up and slight roll and flare on them, lower another inch.
  21. spotted driving past the mile end hotel (Was in the Bottle-o buying a carton of coopers finest) Bayside Blue R34 GTR, Standard slimline plates, Bronze Work XD-9's, twin cannons.... VERY nice car man.
  22. Drifting is shit. Better off doing some poser laps on rundle street. Much more kudos in that! (Seriously, rock up to a prac day/night, wait out for drift school, and if you're only learning, dont do it in your 34. Buy a cheap S13, or better yet, get a 31 )
  23. Screw EBAY... Go to R31 skyline club, a member there, GTS-145 can get them brand new from nissan for $208 I think. (Dont quote me on that) And dont f**k around with thermo's, Run stock clutch fan and shroud. Works the best.
  24. not to mention that a S3 R31 rad bolts straight in, alloy needs custom brackets made up, and 31 rad can be had for $200 or so brand spankers, and even the cheap china ones are double that.
  25. two closest wheels I can find are the Prodrive GG-07's and the JIC force 7's... You'll be able to find the Prodrives easy enough, but the JIC's are gonna be a pain. and agree with Danny/Shy S6. Ugly wheels. Can get MUCH better. What car are you putting them on? Your S2 R33?
