  1. thats exactly wat i wanted to hear ive been tryin to find out if anyone had used the stainless steam pipe for a manifold before and now i have and a result.. still cracks..
  2. i dont mean to be rude.. your engine bay does look good.. but couldnt he find the K&n air filters with 4inch fitting on them... oh and to you people winging.. my silvia has now been off the road since about july-aug 2004(from memory).. im definately goin to be getting my own sticker made up "BUILT NOT BOUGHT" once its goin again.. and lasts more than couple weeks on the road...

  4. think about the questions before you ask it than yes it is bad for your comp wheel.. think about it.. that wheel is spinning f**king fast and its pushing air one way.. that noise you here is air chopping thru the blades tryin to get back out the intake pipe now thinking of it like that.. do you think its good or bad?
  5. a "dose" pipe as the vl community refer to it.. is just a solid intake pipe.. cause majority of them run no bov's when they do this there "flutter" gets a shitload loader.. hence why they refer to it as "dosing" or "dose pipe" n stupid shit.

  10. exhaust side i wasnt to fussed about.. however the intake side i sent the the whole farken side.. plenum throttle bodys and TB to head adapter all shims were sitting in place proper when cams were put in afterwards no.. thats were the valve has been smashing the side of the chamber(if its the part i think your refering to).. and you cant fit the head with the cams still in there when using arp head studs

  12. to me this sounds like it wouldnt do anything to aid cooling in hotter climates.. some one care to explain this to me?
  13. no i havent spoken to them.. and more than likely wont.. specially considering there match porting effort i gave up on them after that.. regardless if im interstate.. i have to send the head to them.. which is worth more than cost of the job.. so its simple.. head doesnt leave workshop till its paid for
  14. yer i know.. i didnt understand that asking for the money upfront specially considering it took them 3 f**king months jhh was one of my original choices.. which i had of gone with them in the first place but oh well cant really go back and change that now can i i dont know wat ill be doin with it for the time being.. goin to just start saving up and buying parts slowly for the rebuild i think.. and decide who will do the head work after that.. i have someone in mind.. but will wait till later down the track
  15. to me the valve guides appear to be steel? or do they have another material inside them that could potentially break off?

  20. ahh yes i know wat you mean now.. dont think i actualy have any feeler gauges ah well i dont think ill get anything out of them anyway.. and i'd rather not have them touch the head again.. i really dont wanna get assf**ked twice by them was costly enough the first time
  21. i should get out the vernie's and messure all the shims do it another day/night when i get around to it
  22. they knew all specs of the motor dummy assembly it was fine and clearance good
  23. i more than likely will be in due time however i'd like to wait a little bit to see if this person actualy notices this thread and if anyone would like to know exactly who im talking about feel free to pm me and ask
