  1. if your goin to swap whole subframe axles hubs and diff get one from a r32 gtr.. bigger axles and stronger.. i'll be doin it to mine in couple months or so.. if i end up blowing my diff or snapping an axle r32 gtst runs same size axles and diff is about same strength.. not really worthwhile in my opinion
  2. ill probly end up doin that in my setup soon but a little bit different basicaly.. back turbo will still come in same direction as stock over the covers depends if i can be bothered tho

  4. r32 hubs are the same as r33 so they will bolt on also
  5. like f**k they wont i done the whole conversion on mine myself and i used r33 rotors and calipers and brake lines (slight mod to stock solid line) r33 hubs which bolted straight on.. r33 drum brake setup and r33 handbrake cables

  12. so title states.. will there be much difference in outright power.. response and topend between the two.. setup is -5 2860r's sard 800's powerfc z32's 3inch dumps 4inch catback
  13. engine is dropped as low.. as low as i wanted to go with it anyway.. there is about 5mm between the sump and crossmember
  14. oh yer.. my stock turbo's werent that laggy at all.. i had 10psi at a smidge over 3000rpm...
  15. i doubt the highflows will be all that much laggier than stock.. they will only be small highflows nothing big.. so im not fussed.. also i'd like to go 2530's but.. for the price of the highflows i am not fussed they will do the job.. if they get me 300rwkw i'll be happy, if not i'll still be happy that there are steel wheeled turbo's there not ceramic. i will never be goin 3litre in the silvia.. i want to retain the factory bonnet and if i go 3litre.. means i have to make a hole and adapt some sort of scoop/bump to it.. i like the stock bonnet.

  17. oh yer.. price i got it offered to me for was roughly 3000 for T88 stainless manifold.. and a turbonetics 42mm race gate all items new.
  18. read below.. and also... i have tendancy to "collect" not pull off and sell i was wondering if anyone had seen that part of the post... i was seriously considering a HKS T04z kit however.. my turbo's have blown at the wrong time for me as i only just got the f**king thing goin again. eitherway it looks like i'll probaly be slide to highflow and steel wheel the stock r32 turbo's.. seeing as i just cant afford to do the single conversion at this point in time so well yer will be good to see how the highflowed stockers go.. also this way i can get the hks t04z later down the track when i want it and not loose out to much on the stock highflows if i'd even get rid of them.
  19. ^^^ i know all of that. i dont really wanna push the stock bottom end past 300rwkw basicaly.. i wanna buy turbos once would prefer not to buy twice
  20. it will be goin on a stock motor to start with.. am slowly building up a new motor.. but yer i just blew up the stock turbos and would prefer to only pay for turbos or a turbo once and once only.. im unsure of which spec t88 it is will have to find out tho but yer 5000-5500rpm lag isnt that bad as rev limit would be set at around 8500-9000 to make some use out of it on the motor thats in there oh yer if its makind half decent kw off boost seeing as its in a silvia would go allright.. come to think of it 160kw is more than wat a sr makes with stock turbo and a few small mods...
  21. ok.. one thing i really do not like.. that looks to be a splitpulse T3 exhaust housing on the KKR turbo.. however your manifold isnt splitpulse.. i wouldnt reccomend running that :S its allright with splitpulse manifold with normaly exhaust housing.. but otherway around has always been a big no no in my opion and many others i know of with vast amounts of turbo experience
  22. you would use more fuel by "Disabling" the turbo for your trip than you would using the thing.. and even if your cruising along at 160kph you shouldnt be seeing much boost to maintain a cetain speed if any at all remember.. if you disable your turbo it will be a gutless bucket of junk to drive!!!
  23. Hey all just wondering how laggy the setup actualy is been offered t88, mani and gate for a reasonable price am contemplating it.. just would like to know how laggy it will be before i think about it i assume nothin happens untill about 5500-6000rpm? cheers Warrick
  24. not sure on the nissan viscous centers.. but some are refillable.. never taken notice of them seeing as ive never run one.
  25. 400k's of hard road use.. the wear on my n1 pump is insane
