  3. hey people having a few problems with wiring again (its almost done) however.. for some reason we cant get any tacho signal wat so ever.. the pin coming out of the computer appears to be dead computer is a mines remapped r32 gtr factory computer anyone got any ideas on wat to do? is there another place to get tacho signal from.. neither the factory s13 dash tacho or the autometer monster will pick up any signal wat so ever.. anyone got any ideas??

  7. apexi made most hp but it actualy filtered the air unlike the others.. allthough most hp was 14 least in the test out of the "best" was 13 so was f**k all difference but the apexi pods were by far the best!
  8. maybe the car isnt as stock as the owner things? remapped? highflowed turbo? rest stock!?

  11. oh and also corrections wouldnt have been applied to that dyno sheet i dont think as the AT and IT are the same.. so obviously the air temp sensor wasnt in place..

Sorry to hear about your car.. good to hear you and your misses are ok.. agreed!!! why my silvia is only insured third party fire and theft (still around 600 bux a year) ok... first bought my silvia back in 04.. fairly stock s13 silvia.. all it had done was rb20det and 5speed conversion.. stock computer stock sidemount only a cat back exhaust ok flew down to brissy with cash went out looked at the car and paid for it then and there(9500 cash) drove to dot got rego'd changed over drove back to sisters place rang up to get a quote for full comp insurance before dirivn it back to cairns.. 6500 a year insured for a measly 10 grand value.. oh and the excess(4500 if i was driving 5000 if i wasnt) worked out that if i wrote it off i'd actualy be just giving just cars 1000 to 1500.. for some cars it is simply not worth insuring them with full comp i was 18 at the time.. had a few speeding tickets hadnt lost my license and i live in a fairly sedate neighboorhood seeing as the cars been off the road for the last year im in talkings with justcars on an agreed value insurance setup as its no longer a 10 grand basicaly stock silvia but depending on how much they want i may just reinsure it for 3rd party fire and theft as its cheaper to throw 5 grand in the bank each year than throw it to some insurance company and get half of it back.. as my silvia is bog stock on the outside.. its cheaper to buy another non turbo silvia and swap all my gear into it and replace the little driveline parts that get damaged. but yer.. some cars just arent worth insuring.

  15. these things have a shocking internal wastegate design, the wastegate flap can only move about 7mm which means you either gotta run big boost or modify there crappy internal wastegate setup for the money its much worth the slide highflow over a kkr thing
  16. ring your machine shops in your area and ask.
  17. wat about wat wheels they run.. been tryin to find a pair of 15x8's or 15x9's for some slicks for a while now.... havent found any that clear r33 gtst rear calipers
  18. it may creat a little dead spot running a bigger exhaust but it till make more power everywere even tho you can feel a little delay stomping it with the stock turbo from low revs.. a smaller exhaust may creat back pressure and spool up quicker how ever it will be making far less power.. for instance a mates r32 was seeing 14psi by 2400rpm only made 126rwkw!!! with the stock turbo and a FULL 3inch turbo back exhaust (cat converter had fused together) after we replaced the cat with a brand newy the car felt completely different to drive in every way.. havent put it back on the dyno yet but am looking at doin that sometime next week..

  20. ok.. wat i want to know is WHO MAKES THE 15 INCH RIMS THESE CARS RUN!!!!! i have not found a 15inch rim that will clear r33 gtst rear brake setup

  23. if it was me doin the pipework for that internal gate turbo i'd almost be tempted to run the wastegate pipe seperately.. i really like the internal gate exhaust housing design makes it easy for pipework i guess you could say.. on the design of your dump pipe.. if you can i'd be running the wastegate pipe a bit further down.. not a fan of running short wastegate pipes.. or plumbing them back in
