  1. haha i have about 10cm's between the turbo's and the strut tower in the silvia was quite a shock when we sat the engine in there hehe yes its possible to change turbos with the engine in the car.. its a bitch but it can be done.. and it saves pulling the engine out (in my case.. engine comes out gearbox comes out with it.. stupid s13 gearbox tunnel)
  2. supras run the exact same sized turbo's how ever all exhaust gas flows to one turbo to start up with than change over point (around 4000rpm from memory) and both of them kick in.. same with the rx7's didnt take much notice.. but they are puny little things stock gtr turbos next to them look like gt30's same sort of setup as the supra uses.. noticed it to be more agressive on the rx7 tho.. from memory the dyno sheet jumped 60rwkw in the matter of a couple hundred rpm if that ill see if i can dig the dyno sheet up from somewere

  5. rb25 clutch should bolt onto the 26 flywheel.. im running a r32 rb26 with r33 rb25 box.. cant remember wat the clutch was ordered specificaly for..

  8. needless to say.. bad dyno operator cars were getting heatsoak like a bitch there was one old school thing that was boiling its tits off when it was eventualy spun up.. but either way it ran less power with the bonnet on..
  9. yes.. r33 box = back breaker 6ftish.. and 105kg you think you got hands lol unless yours are long and skinny.. i know i'd rather that also.. guys stop winging about the skyline gearbox.. they are PISS EASY compared to a f*kn supra 6speed in my opinion

  11. those afr's dont look to bad.. i'd probaly be thinking rechipped stock ecu.. if it was stock computer you should be seeing 10:1 to 11:1's.. but well they seem fairly steady up top..

  13. if i could find my digi cam i could show a better pictures that shows the wear on the standard r32 oil pump.. hehe mines quite shocking.. will have to get off my ass and find that digi cam

NO DYNO WILL READ THE SAME REGARDLESS.. they may read close but THATS IT A DYNO IS A AWESOME TUNING TOOL the power readings from dynos i would only use to compare upgrades and see wat was worth the cash and wat wasnt.. sure.. if you put a stock v6 commie on a dyno and it pulls 1000hp than there is something majorly wrong.. everything matters with dynos.. how hard they are strapped down.. the tyres the car has.. (shit ones spin so ive found out) also.. BONNET UP OR BONNET DOWN.. recent dyno comp showed a skyline running no bonnet (against shootoutmode rules) and it spun up 500.5hp.. put the bonnet back on and it spun up a measly 435hp.. (i say measly because they were making claims of 700+rwhp before the comp) meh
  15. amen to that.. or i'd just buy a f*kn autronic and not even bother about factory setup.. which is were im almost at the point off.. mate is having one last go with getting it running with factory computer.. after that im just goin to go out and buy a haltech or autronic

  18. just remember people a dyno is a tuning tool.. each dyno will read differently regardless of wat people say and yes there are ways to make a dyno read higher.. no bonnet.. bp.. airtemp in wrong spot afr's are lean.. would like to see a sheet with afr's on there.. also.. if it was 10degrees at 1130 on a saturday morning.. i feel sorry for you.. i absolutely hate the cold weather
  19. in my opinion.. your looking WAY to bigger cams for that turbo.. go for something more along the lines or either basic pon cams.. 260 9.15's or 272's.. cant remember who it was.. but there's someone out there that does 260's with bigger lift than 9.15mm just.. cant remember who makes them

DO NOT RUN NITRO.. if its the stuff that im thinking off.. a few people i know as a joke decided to run some in there lawn mower.. f**k it went hell hard.. didnt start again after that tho even tho using the nitro in this case wouldnt use stuff all compared to the lawn mower.. it will still f**k your engine eventualy just keep it simple and run it as watermethanol.. wat it was designed for.
  22. its in millimeters mercury(from memory) rob.. i got a spare greddy boost guage if you wanna throw that in there n see wat its actualy reaching.. not quite sure on the conversion of millimeters mercury to psi/bar
  23. i was thinking overall cost.. sure r34 n1's would be better.. but i'd rather change the dump pipes first sure not holding it back 1500rpm.. but still holding it back.. and well sure it shows power can be made with stock dumps.. how ever its also been proven that people make better power all over the shock with a good set of dumps.. the power appears to be very smooth for a rwd setup which is wat i'd want in a rwd car either way he should be upgrading the dumps to get the best out of any turbo either way.. not my car not my money
  24. i cant see a reason to change turbos.. i can see a reason to change dump pipes as they are definately holding it back
