  2. doughboy you forgot to mention rb26/30 3speed jatco with massive stall (5500 or 6000 or something like that) the 235 tyres are mickey thompsons and i was under the impression they were 255/50/16's? and the t51r kai.. bit different to a 2.6 running 2530's with little poncams.. and the power there pulling is very similar

  4. it all comes down to tuning.. anyone runing a stock computer buy a SAFC and fine tune it.. anyone running an aftermarket computer.. take your 'tuner' for a drive and get him to find tune downlow its not to hard.. just thats the point it all comes down to the tune.. shit tune.. shit fuel economy
  5. my simple conclusion to all this is dont like the fuel economy of the car? hello you bought a car thats not exactly the most fuel effiecent car.. it all comes with owning one of these things.. its the right foot that controlls fuel consumption most.. heavy foot = heavy fuel use if you dont like it.. sell the bloody thing and buy a small cheap car that runs of the smell of a oily rag..

  7. yes that dyno sheet shows 2530's being absolutely awesome setup for low mounts
  8. ca18 gearbox wont bolt up to a sr sr manual gearbox's can be had for as little as 300 and as much as 600
  9. they are only as accurate as the person who sets them up.. can be made to give big false readings..

  12. stock sort of setup.. go z32's you should be able to get them to bolt up to a stock sort of setup with out to much hassle q45's really are a BIG afm only time i'd ever go twin q45's would be running a big twin highmount setup..
  13. sounds like typical ebay crap once again.. with important stuff like fuel system and other important items i dont see why people go cheap n skimpy on ebay shit when it clearly isnt goin to do the job simply spend the money and get yourself a set of nismos/hks/sard or which ever injectors but dont go cheap.. www.nengun.com for all your injector needs at decent prices.. and on another note of advice.. stay away from cheap dodgy ebay shit

  16. run it up on a dyno see wat power it pushes out if not get down in that tightly compacted engine bay and find the numbers on the turbo's..
  17. im also keen to find out about the oil cooler kits with filter relocater.. as for these copy hybrid coolers.. they tend to have less pressure drop thru the core compared to other name brand coolers

  19. yes come on im keen to seen the dyno sheet from the 2530's compared to the GTRS's on dirtgarages GTR might even help me make a turbo choice
  20. not a fan of that manifold or intercooler piping.. :\ wat'd you weld that up with a stick welder? even looks to messy for a gasless mig .. also you relise how hot the air is goin to be being sucked into the turbo from were've you've got that filter mounted? just think about it.. your boosting hard.. manifold is around 600 degrees.. airfilter will probaly catch on fire as its right next to number 1 and 2 runner for the manifold.. think.. glowing red hot manifold.. than pod filter very close i can see someone loosing alot of power from that
  21. funny all this talk of BOV : i went to enquire about getting a blueplate/roady on my car for the conversion.. the guy strictly instructed that i have no BOV on the car regardless if it was plumback or atmo.. so stuffed if i know :
  22. i'll agree with that.. dyno comps are a good example.. the cars that the workshop has worked on seem to pull very very high figures which just dont sound right also have seen various cars pull massive figures one day than realistic figures the next ont he same dyno
  23. sell your monstor turbo buy this http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/26 than buy a 040 fuel pump than buy a Z32 AFM than buy a decent boost controller you can easily get the gtrs tuned safely to around 250rwkw without to much to worry about and if you wish to push it further.. add a set of pon cams and up the boost
