  1. we will also consider covering event entry costs for the selected car in this deal.
  2. the ride would probably be too harsh to use metal bushes if your car is street driven. stick with oem or urethane. with urethane the ride will feel firmer but they wont last as long as oem.
  3. thanks for your responses guys I will be wearing a grey AMEC shirt and watching on pit wall at the exit of turn 6 for those who want to say hi and express interest in the deal.
  4. Well we've conquered the circuit racing / sprints scene at QR (but alot of you have probably still never heard of us!) so now we want to get known by getting into the drift scene our workshop is located in Coorparoo. we would like to sponsor an amateur drift driver who lives in the Brisbane area. the driver we choose gets free labor for all servicing, mechanical repairs and performance upgrades to ensure we keep the car running for entry in drift practices and events. in return we would require that you regularly enter and drive in drift practice events at Queensland Raceway, drive in other local drift days, and make appearances at local cruises and dyno days etc. we would also require the car to have our workshop signage that would be similar to the following logo: the car would need to be presentable and the driver would need to show a high level of ability. if this sounds like something you would like to do, send me a pm and tell me a little about your car. you will need to enter your car in the Friday night drift practice at QR on Jan 18th 2008 where I will be able to check out your driving style. seasons greetings
  5. Nissan Moorooka is good for OEM import parts in Brisbane if you dont have any luck locally.
  6. I can really only comment on how the front strut brace affects our car. with it on, the car understeers to the point where at the apex of turn 2 at QR it feels like I have to turn the steering wheel past 90 degrees to get it round the corner. with it off, I dont need anywhere near as much steering input and the rear will want to step out if I put the power down to early. like Sydneykid says, experiment and find out what works best for you and your car, using the basic "rules" of suspension setup.
  7. if you were driving up to Qld then you could see how you go at Qld Raceway in February, that I'd like to see
  8. yep to encourage oversteer, the rear must be stiffer than the front. experiment with different settings to see which works best for you, but stick to the general rear stiffer than front rule. also if you are running a front strut brace, it might help to remove it.
  9. thanks! same here about the ocean view, didnt notice the hay shed either you tend to focus on the black stuff I think.
  10. Phillip Island is just the ducks nuts! if I could race there every month I would. if you ever get a chance to run there, DO IT!
  11. as above, the stock temp gauges in the cluster literally only show if the temp is cold, warm, or way too hot.
  12. once warmed up, the o2 sensor should constantly go up and down in voltage, it should never flat line. if it does, it's cactus.
  13. whereabouts are you located so someone can recommend a good dyno tuner for you?
  14. I think nissan oem retail is about $140 for one of those, we get these locally all the time.
  15. yep sounds like dead shocks to me too. KYB is a popular choice for replacement shocks, good quality and won't break the bank.
  16. I know on Z32s if you have a faulty engine coolant temp sensor or a faulty det sensor then one or both of these conditions will cause poor fuel economy.
  17. have you tried just pulling the coil pack connectors one at a time to see if that changes the engine idle? that will tell you if you have a coilpack that isnt sparking.
  18. my best time on the Sprint circuit at QR is 57.3
  19. sorry for the late reply. every day the car runs 366 RWKW @ 23 psi. we only managed the 437 RWKW once @ 26 psi. the car wont hold over 23 psi now, we think the internal wastegates dont seal properly, we cant find any other reason for it. at Phillip Island we did a best time of 1 min 55 something, but with more time (and guts) would think I could have gone a couple of seconds quicker.
  20. I might be able to help you, pm sent
  21. I might be able to get you some universal shock boots, shouldnt be more than $60 delivered for all 4 corners. send me a pm if you want me to look into it for you.
  22. we were quite impressed with this manifold, went straight on no problems, the welds look solid, 3mm wall thickness, and the polished 304 stainless steel looks great
  23. the customer has bought over $10,000 worth of performance parts for it so it will end up costing him about $17,000 all up when completed.
  24. common sense, just check that the paint stripper you use wont damage the material the intercooler is made from.
  25. Just thought I would share some pics of an RB25DET performance engine rebuild we are doing. specs include: - Eagle conrods - JE Forged Pistons - KKR 480 turbo - Tomei 256 cams - Tomei 555 injectors - TuneAgent Stainless Steel manifold enjoy the pics
