    yes, $100, less than a night out on the piss. so you either go out and get drunk, or you buy an R33 GTST 300 km/h speedometer kit, your choice.

    at this rate we will be lucky to get a black face R33 GTST kit let alone a GTR kit.

    the overwhelming positive response to those who have put themselves down as definates for this kit can only be matched by the underwhelming lack of response of those who have actually paid for their speedometer kits. so far ONLY 3 PEOPLE HAVE PAID! the sooner people pay for their kits the sooner we can get them manufactured and the sooner you'll get them. UPDATE: NOW 5 PEOPLE HAVE PAID! yee haa.

    we're now collecting payments for this group buy. so far only a few people have paid for their kits. those people who are keen to get their kits need to send their payment, to cover the cost of manufacture, before they can be made up and sent out.

    yes I'll give a money back guarantee in the case of melted gauge faces, unless you are installing 100W heater lamps into your cluster!

    the deal would be the same with that design, we would need 30 people to commit (and actually pay hint hint) to cover the design and manufacturing costs.

    changing the design to have the alternate sized numbers would mean additional cost that I would need to pay for. in any case I prefer the numbers being the same size. each to their own I suppose. so the number size stays as is. however there MAY be provision to have a tasteful logo added: 1. if someone can actually send me one AND 2. the cost to add the logo to the design doesnt break the bank.

    people need to start sending their payments before we can get these manufactured. of the 30 or so people who have put themselves down as definates, I have received 3 payments. the quicker you make your payments the quicker you get your gauges.

    yep we're working on the recalibration for the R32 at the moment and a similar group buy will be happening for this soon.

    recalibration is done by jumping solder points on the back of the speedometer circuit board and is detailed in the instructions. takes about an hour to do the whole job.

    no it doesnt affect the operation of the other gauges. yes you can choose to install just the speedometer if you wish, but the price will still be $100. PAYMENTS UPDATE: so far 3 people have paid for their gauges, 27 to go before manufacture can begin.

    that would require a change to the boost circuitry, we havent investigated on how that might be done. the only change we might make to the design would be to add a small tasteful logo near the bottom of the speedometer face, if someone wants to submit one to me, otherwise the design will stay as is. pms sent.

    the kits wont have the indicators for SLIP or ALSD. up to you if you decide to mod the kit to suit.

    Here is the design for the black face R33 300 km/h speedometer kit: I am now accepting payments for this so we can get the design manufactured. Price is $100 delivered.     its more than just the speedo, its faces for the whole cluster. also the boost gauge and the oil pressure gauge readings are in PSI. I'll be posting up the design tomorrow in a new thread and will start collecting payments after that.

    UPDATE: still waiting on the instrument shop to come up with a solution to the recalibration. soon as that is done I will post the procedure, then get the design done up and posted so people can see what they will be getting.

    regardless of what colour LEDs you install in your cluster, the needle always illuminates red.

    yes the R32 cluster is indeed cable driven. we are currently working on the recalibration procedure and should have a solution soon. once we have sorted that out I will be able to get a design drawn up and posted on the forum.
