  1. damn that sucks! hope someone spots the car soon for you.
  2. the rear steering consists of the hicas solenoid, the inner rack ends, outer rack ends, and the ball joints. do you know which part(s) need to be replaced? we can check it out for you if you like.
  3. get a check done to see if the alternator is functioning.
  4. injector(s) could also be the culprit. could pay to get them cleaned and flow tested. I assume engine compression checks out ok?
  5. is it really noticeable or does it sound internal of the motor, if its the latter it could be pinging. PS you must be taking it to the wrong mechanics!
  6. did quite well in round 2, but was way off the pace in round 3 due to a very cold saturday and the slicks I run on the rear take ages to heat up. it was warmer on the sunday and the lap times were better but not as good as round 2. unfortunately the results have yet to be posted on the morgan park web site so I have no idea how I went.
  7. so when you say it goes into boxer mode, is the thing running rough or??? I would try a compression test next to eliminate that being the problem.
  8. have you pulled coil pack connectors to check which cylinder(s) arent firing?
  9. I've always said when watching the drifting, the more stickers you have, the better the judges score you! sounds like a plan Beau!
  10. If it was me, I would wait until you had the turbo, then get it all done at once.
  11. sounds like it could be injector signal, easy to test with a noid light.
  12. thanks heaps for that, its really appreciated!!
  13. With AMEC, not only will you get good service and value, but we also have the unique claim where the mananger regularly competes in circuit racing and has won the Queesnland Raceway sprint series in a race car built by our workshop. All on the same VG30DETT motor we built back in Feb 2006 and she is still going strong @ 24 psi.
  14. there are many causes of this including but not limited to: - 1 or more faulty coilpacks - a faulty ignitor module - a faulty CAS - a faulty injector(s)
