You should be able to push more boost through it with the cams as they will drop static comp. So what is the setup exactly, I just chatted 2 Pete about ti quickly, didnt actually get to see it.

Ok so last night I got angry with the car and ripped the afm plug off and believe it or not the car started. And then when I connected it up, it didnt, wtf?!? So then I put a mates afm on and it still didnt start. The car is running stock everything as I have stocked it our for sale so there is no d Jetro in play or anything Any ideas? Im getting a mates ECU tomorrow and pluging that in to see if thats the problem but if anybody has any ideas it would be awesome

I was running a power fc with the q45 and I am now running the stock afm with the stock management. The q45 had to be hardwired as I ddint have the plug for the q45, and I dont have the stock plug so it needs to be hardwired again What I actually needed was the sequence of the wiring e.g Pod pin1 = red pin2 = bluw white pin3 = orange/white Turbo mouth If you catch my drift

Hey guys, I am in desperate need of an rb25 afm off a series2, all I need it for is to test my engine and see if the reason it isnt starting is becuase of the afm as my one is pretty old and had been sitting around in a dusty old shed for ages. I cleaned it using carby cleaner and it still didnt work so if anybody could loan me theirs it would be greatly appreciated. It will literally take 5 mins, I dont even need to tighten up the clamps or andything, all ill do is wire it up and turn the key. If you could help that would be awesome, as I need to get the car going for the sale Cheers Ryan

Hey mate I got a weldy that has never been used, never even put it back together, the centre is still out of housing so you can have a look at it if you want, it comes with everything including, all you need to do is bolt it back together and away you go. I welded it up at my old engineering job back in Melbourne and then decided to sell the car, give me a PM if you are interested in it mate Oh and I also have a HICAS lock bar if you are intereted

No ideas at all people? Im thinking my afm is dead as it hasnt been on the car in some time and everything else was on there and running the whole time, but if you have any other suggestions that would be awesome

OK compared it to a ,ates rb25 afm layout and its the same. I slid the cas plug on and of and it fires a tiny bit and then just keeps turning over. Could my cas be on its way out? I was also thinking maby my AFM is dead. I know my coils are old but there is no reason they hsouldnt be firing. I checked all connections and everything so if anybody could help me it would be much appreciated, c heers
