Hi my car currently looks like this. Now I was stuffing around before, and put a socket n ratchet on the nut to the power steer pump, and just wanted to see if it turned, now it did turn, though it seemed to have a tight spot, and would cause the belt to slip until I got it back the the looser spot, I have not touched the adjustment, note: it is the only belt connected ATM though. My question, is the balancer slightly warped/bent? Is this a common problem, or is this something internally?

In process of tidying up engine bay on my 32, have plenum removed and decided to check the thermo. And this is what I found, hose on housing is rusting away, and it seems very rusted on the inside note, the coolant isn't dirty though. I just like to know weather I should be concerned or if it's a normal thing with age. Car is a r32 gtr Thanks,,,

Yeah that's all part of the plan mate, I'm clearing out everything that isn't used, painting the bay as much as possible, with the engine still in it. Only because of corrosion caused by by battery. That why I'd like to find out what is needed and what can be done away with first. This may be a stupid question but bare with me, the heater hoses what are the for exactly? Mainly the 2 hick ones that run behind the block n into the firewall? I'd love to piss them off. Also are there any hoses you CANT USE, braided one on. Apart from vac lines

Cleaning up the bay on my 32, I've removed the plenum so I can paint it. Now I've come across this absolute dogs breakfast, and my OCD will not let it remain in the same state. The car is only a weeknd cruiser, I've removed hicas, front hicas solenoid and lines, also removed as a/c and carbon canister. Question I'm asking is all of this needed? Now obviously I know it's there for a reason, but taking in account what's been removed, is all of this still needed?, can things be re-run, blocked etc etc.theres also a few hoses that have been blocked off? I think one runs around the rear of the block and would explain why on the turbo side I've got a steel pipe that has short hoses which are also blocked off, think they went to the old accuators? Also can the AAC valve be removed or best to leave it? Any help is appreciated, any pics or diagrams of how to re route line etc will be greatly appreciated also.

Hi just seeing if there is any interest in the turbo setup off my gtr. I'd like to go the single turbo path, but need to sell this stuff first to fund the single. Turbos, dumps,manifolds are still fitted on car, will not be removing if there's no buyer. Stainless steel manifolds, stainless steel dumps, was told the turbos are from r34 n1. Only markings I can see are Garrett m24 A/R 53, done a quick search and seems to be different stamping to originals so it's possible they are n1s. Also if the front pipe is not needed to do my single conversion that will be included, it's a stainless steel nismo item. Also have all inlet piping etc to turbos, a standard r32 gtr inter cooler, and standard bovs mounted on standard mounting pipe. Will not include inter cooler hard piping. It's currently tuned at 296awkw on my gtr. Not sure what it's all worth but has to be worth enough to pickup a reasonable single turbo kit I guess. Throw me an offer, SMS only. pretty much the same a roller shutter motor chain, which also has the joining link. but does not cost anywhere near that much.

i work in the roller shutter industry, and took down an old sliding gate, that someone had welded the piece of checkplate too, so it was just by luck mate, but there are cheap ways around it. i personally have no access to plate steel in that size, but would recommend giving sims a call to see what the would charge for an old piece, or a local steel supplier. thats why i welded 10mm 65x65 angle underneath, where the low points are to stop any flexing or bending under load. as i said mate i have a truck with a hiab, welder,grinders,oxy and am more then happy to help you. just need to locate some steel. i have access to smaller bits for strengthening underside etc. just let me know mate.

im in the same situation, steering rack is f$%3&6, been searching for a while on the net and havnt came accross any aftermarket stuff yet. but found a place in auburn called suzukisuper or something like that. that has them for $350 exchanged, not fitted obviously. best deal i could find so far.

for future reference guys, im a industrial roller shutter installer, have been for past 9 years, i fix,service,repair and replace factory,shed and garage roller doors. i take my work truck home so can also do side jobs cheaper if needed. i dont work on panelifts or gates.
