  1. What's on your mind?

  2. Yeah I think you might be right. I'd still appreciate it if you could get the part number for the centre console lid. Thanks Paul
  3. To be perfectly honest I've been very happy with the Tein Street coil overs (I've had them on the car a few years now), the ride is quite comftable, and they've improved the handling out of sight.
  4. Hi CPD, Is this true does the hand brake boot come as part of the complete console assembly? If this is the case I might be better off trying to find an aftermarket one (I think they exist), if not then maybe I could try secondf hand. If this is true NISSAN you suck! Thanks Paul
  5. When you talk about Bride low max, are you talking about just seat rails, or the seats and the rails. Thanks Paul
  6. Yeah that's a right pain in the arse, if they need to be welded, and you do it properly, you'l need an engineers certificate and the thing will probably have to be over engineered to the bullshit, and cost a small fortune.
  7. Yeah that's it really just need to know if they fit. I have Tein Street coil overs which are a little firm but there really not to bad, I think their about the softest coil overs you can get. I think I'd be fine with R33 GTR seats, although I really don't think I'd want the R34GTR seats, their quyite hard.
  8. A couple of questions regarding seats and rails: 1. Can I just fit a set of GTR rails and mount my existing seats on them, obviously I'd need a reduction in height? 2. Can I fit R33GTR rails and seats in my R34 GTT The reason I ask this is the R34 GTR seats are just to hard for me and my back injury. If I ever want to take the car on the track I need to lower the seat because there is no way I could wear a helmet the way it is. Paul
  9. I've got a Garret GT3071 (smaller than the 3076)on my R34, and I get 260rwKW at only 16PSI, and the response is just as good as the factory turbo. Next I'll be putting the boost up to 18PSI with the hope of getting about 280rwKW. Paul
  10. Thanks, much appreciated!
  11. Hi Mate, My cars a 1998 R34 Sedan VIN: 6U90000ER34017016 When you say the handbrake boot is prick, does that mean it's only available in red? I'd only be interested in a black one. If you could get me the part number for the centre console lid that would be much appreciated. Thanks Paul
  12. Yeah good point, at least I have a very good panel beater who I trust implicitly. The first accident was a 20K repair job, half the car had to be resprayed, so I paid for the other half out of my pocket and had a total respray, and the paint job shit's all over anything out of the Nissan factory. The cars now 13 years old, and looks better than most cars that are 12 months old. I had a spray painter look at it (my mechanic is also a qualified spray painter) and he could NOT tell it's been in an accident at all. Not to mention I spent a small fortune modifying it, sway bars, Tein Coil overs, and a bunch of engine mods, it now put's out 360rwHP. So in short I do love the car and don't really want to sell it (I'm just sick of waiting for import parts). I've been told the parts will be here in 2 weeks, so hopefully with a bit of luck it might be repaired in a month or so, here's hoping anyway. Paul
  13. Yeah I think that's probably worth looking in to. Paul
  14. Yeah I don't doubt the EVO would leave the commodore for dead! Paul
  15. Hi Mate, Would you be able to get me the part number for lid (the one that opens) of the centre console, and the boot for the hand brake, of an R34 GTT. Thanks Paul
  16. Yeah an Evo could be another option, although I find them a bit ugly except for the X. Paul
  17. Reinforcing the rear end of the R34 isn't such a bad idea, except I'd have to do the front as well. In the most recent accident the car in front of me stopped (it was a big f**k off Landcruiser), and I pulled up about 5 feet behind her, she threw it straight in to reverse and floored it (without even being able to see behind her)to try and get a parking spot. It's compltetely f**ked the front of my car, the bonnet creasaed and popped up about 2 foot, the front mount intercooler now touches the radiater, the fan has been logded in to the radiater, the intercooler, oil cooler, and radiater have all been squashed together. My guess is their all f**ked except for the oil cooler. Needless to say I'm f**ked off, in my opinion SUV's should be banned from the city and wimon shouldn't be allowed to drive them at all. Just my usual rant. Paul
  18. Yeah I don't think the M3 is really a sensible option, I could only afford an E36 which would probably have been thrashed and would cost a fortune to keep on the road, no thanks.A Honda S2000 could be worth considering, although I'm not sure I'd fit in one with the roof up, maybe I should go and have a look at one and see. Thanks Paul
  19. No he hasn't, he's a very good panel beater (I've used him several times before and he's resprayed my whole car and did an amazing job) who only ever uses brand new genuine parts. To be honest I wouldn't have it any other way. Touch wood, the parts should be here in two weeks. Thanks Paul
  20. Yeah I was thinking of the GT tuned by STI. How does the 3.0R Spec.B compare to the GT Tuned by STI? It's my understanding that the GT has substantially more torque (especially down low)and is therefore quicker, not to mention a lot cheaper and easier to modify for extra power? What are your thoughts? Thanks Paul
  21. Hey Mate, Can you give me an idea of what parts your able to obtain. I have an R34 GTT with severe front end damage (caused by an accident that was NOT my fault), the bumber bars f**ked, and all the cooling components have moved, the intercooler, oil cooler, and radiater have all been squashed together and the fan has been lodged in to the radiater. I've had it assessed and all the parts have been ordered but that was 6 weeks ago and no news on when the hell they will arrive. I can only assume the delay is because of the earth quake in Japan, needless to say I'm f**king over it. Please let me know if you may be able to help, if you think you can, I will give you the VIN number. Thanks Paul
