hmmm today i went into Auto one and i also read the oil review that was attatched to this topic...mmm the guy was telling me that Penrite Synthetic "SIN" 5 5w60 is way better then the Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 5w30? and also the oil review also had better results from the Penrite...im talking about the one that was using the bearings and showing the marks etc etc....so the question is keep using MOBIL 1 or try Penrite? any help would be sweet Cheers Chi

Hey does anyone know anybody that can get some Royal Purple Fully Synthetic 10w40 oil ? and also the Penrite Synthetic 5 oil? looked at the reviews for the 2 oils and its looks good so yeah trying it out atm running mobil 1 10w30 fully synthetic Cheers Chi

How about Mobil 1 fully synthetic 5w30 oil? would that be better then the Redline 10w40 oil? i pay about 82 dollars for 5 litres of the mobil one, my engine has done around 60 000kms ish so yeah which is the better oil to use? sorry if it has been covered Cheers Chi

hey i was just wondering if the R33 GTST radiator is interchangable for the R34 GT-T radiator? as my R33 Radiator has cracked i was thinking of putting in a R34 GT-T one in can ne one confirm i can interchange it and they are the same? or is there ne thing different ? Cheers Chi

Kylie....i was not told there was no dipstick...i am well aware that i was not told....it doesn't matter now....if it was in good condition when mitchy got rear ended then good....ill go get some tests done etc...im sure mitchy's a honest trader im not saying his dishonest etc etc....im not trying to make it hard for yous....just tryign to ask why tehre is no dip stick but now its all good i will get the dip stick plug knocked out and run a dip stick thank you..and also how did u check ur oils kylie ? answer that question ? lol cause every time i bloody check the oil its just drop the oil and go from there. sure do AD4M...but it may not be dodgy compression? etc...so i gotta get it checked out still i just hope mitchy would lend me a hand if there is something wrong with the engine...but atm i see there is nothign wrong with it until then i can only do a compression test on it. Cheers Chi

i did change the oil when i first got the car, i poured around 4.5L or oil into it....mmm i will get the compression test done this week, and i will get the dipstick thing unblocked...i just hope mitchy and kylie didn't lie to me about the compression :? because TJ is right i did pay good money for the motor...so yeah will get tests done this week Cheers Chi

no there has not been an explantion for the lack of dip stick from the previous owner of the engine and no i havne't had it tested myself... Cheers Chi

mmm so if my rings for my pistons were gone it would blow smoke out right from the exhaust? oh well guys mitchy has stepped out and confirmed that my engine has 165 compression for all 6 cylinders then the engine should be fine....im goin to go remove the stud and fit a dip stick in there problem solved thanks guys for ur support sorry to create a thread that was kidna like days of our lifes Cheers Chi

hmmm i don't know about 10 psi but on the other thread that dan666 made i think the max u can run is 8-9 psi i think not too sure someone correct me if im wrong and also i think u would also need a turbo computer ? Cheers Chi

alright mitchy its ok that u can confirm that 165 all through 6 cylinders im not so worreid about the blown ring issues i was not aware that u told me about the dip stick sorry to say or maybe i just misheard or something im not here to bitch but now i've found the answer so my question is how did U check the oil ? when i check the oil i have to leak it down into a container and check from there on ? im just curious just a note im not here to bad mouth u mitchy and kylie i just want to know some facts because im about to put a dip stick in there but just need to know what compression u guuys got so yeah i hope that makes sense? i did put new oil and coolant in...the only reason it was leaking when i first got it is i think mitchy took turbo off but not put 2 copper washers to seal the line ? or something cause me and [Michael] ended up putting the other turbo on mmm and when my mechanic realised that there was no dip stick the motor was already in and bolted up so yea but now i've got my answer i wanted then its all good thanks mitchy and kylie sorry if there was any misunderstanding i just want u guys to know that im jsut curious and not trying cause crap and bd name u guys Cheers Chi

hey guys and girl as i have installed my turbo engine maybe 2 months ago and found i have no dip stick but instead it is blocked off i was wondering why people would do this ? just wondering why do it ? atm the only answer i have is trying to run a dry sump any ideas are welcome im just curious why people would block off the dip stick hole..my car is not blowing out any spoke either or burning any oil so yeah ?
