Are the shift lights stand alone items, i mean can you adjust them on the light or do they need to be hooked up to a gauge to work?

DAM, this is a blast from the past, i know the original owner of these plates, use to be on a white R31 that got around frankston/dandenong i dont think they have been used much in the last few years but when they were being used the dandenong tmu knew them well, if your driving a car you should'nt be and live in the dandenong area then it is best you get rid of them, im sure the tmu will be very interested when they see them.

Thrust bearing maybe, mine dosnt sound like it is grinding but it is noisy, the worst bit is that it was noisy when the last owner replaced the clutch and he didnt bother replacing it, now i have to pull the gearbox out to replace a $20 part.

The pines use to be housing commission back in the 60's/70's, thats where its reputation comes from, of course all the house's have been privately owned for a long time now and of course since frankston is so close that also gets a bad rap. Its amazing how people who say not to live here have never lived here and have probably never even been here.

Carrum downs is actually getting a worse reputation than the pines, seems like a lot of people who live in the pines are buying house's in carrum downs.

A standard S5 turbo has a 1.0 exhaust housing, a S4 on the other hand has a 0.84, from memory the fronts on both are the same, been a while since i researched it tho. Definately worth spending a little more for a bolt on item, also remember that rotaries love boost so anyone that has paid good money for a high flow have started the boost at 15psi and wound it up from there.

I believe that is purely there head office, they have what looks like a factory (never been in there so dont know) back towards princess hwy, i would guess that its more of an agreement with nissan japan since it is wearing vic plates already so im guessing it has already gone though all the rego requirements.

im a truck driver that does 3500-4000k's a week and raely get pulled over (in my 33 or truck) as long as you are doing everything legaly and driving a clean stock car then you should only get pulled over a minimal amount of times.

Im with just cars, heard you cant get insurance through shannons if you have lost your liscense, is this true? If so then i'll have to stick to just cars, they also only wanted to know about my infringements for the last 3 yrs, some what it for the last 5yrs, in the last 3 yrs i have had 1 accident and 2 fines, in the last 5 i have had 3 accidents and a coupple of pages of fines.

You could always try sayinig that you have been back in adelaide for 3 months and have just come back, isnt the law innocent untill "proven" guilty?

I havn't read any lists anywhere but the best (and only) inspection i had done was by racv, they picked heaps of little repairs that i couldnt find till it was pointed out to me and anything they said was worn and about to break broke in 6-12 months, they are also very detailed with there reports, would definately get another one off them again.

I think you will find that every state use's laser guns now, laser guns do not put out a signal untill they pull the trigger (unlike radar which is always putting out a detecable signal) so unless you are near another car that they are targeting you will not have any warning.

If travelling for work isnt an issue maybe try the mornington peninsula, dromana, safety beach, rosebud, mornington, there all nice suburbs, no idea on price tho, only part worth looking at around frankston is frankston south, i think thats fairly expensive though (mt eliza and mt martha are also good but left them out since they are the rich areas), you mentioned not being able to find places under 200k, if thats your budget then frankston north is the only suburb you will be able afford, which not only is where i live but is also the worst part of frankston, i think i picked a good street though, apart from the odd domestic every few weeks its pretty quiet in my street. The suburbs i have mentioned are all in the south eastern suburbs along the edge of the bay, probably other good area's as well but i have lived along here most of my life abd its the area's i know the best. From my experience the only suburb i would say NOT to live in is narre warren, i had bad neighbours and its an absolute bitch to get in and out in peak hour, there are pretty much 2 roads and in peak hour they are chockers.

Do you actually show where ppl can get it new for cheaper or do you just say you can get it cheaper else where? Personaly i would have pm'd them about it but it is also stops sellers from ripping other ppl off if you post it in the thread. Not that im saying xzla8 is, any one who has looked for these parts will no doubt have seen the varying prices they sell for.
