Maybe try under the parcel shelf, if it was on the parcel you would know its there, in my 33 its about 12" long 8" deep and 3" high, its very noticable.

On my 33 there is an air purifier on the parcel shelf, has a grenn and red led on the front and a remote for it, it is genuine nissan as it has nissan on it.

Been happening off and on for a little while now, every now and then the engine will die, dos'nt stutter or anything just dies all together and then about 1/2 - 1 second later it comes back, always happened whilst i was driving untill the weekend, it would'nt start, cranked a few times and it wouldnt start, turned the key all the way off and 3 or 4 of the warning lights stayed on, i think it was the engine, exhaust and the usual alternator and one other one next to them, turned the key back on and it started. As i said its been doing it for a while but it is doing it more and more often lately, nothing else dies just the engine and it dos'nt splutter or slowly die it just dies like someone had turned it off, all electrics inside work like normal and the only warning lights that normaly come on are the same ones that come on when you turn ignition on before you start the car. If anyone has idea what this could be i would appreciate it. Thanks.

condensor sits in front of the radiator and the compressor is on the passenger side of your engine at the front (pretty sure its paasenger side) if you find the line then i will be obvious where it goes. If you cant find it just find someone wrecking one and send them that pic, they should know which one you want.

Interesting that he implies that its legal since having anything other then the factory airbox in vic is illegal, i would like to see if this would go over an air box tho, that way its sucking air from behind the headlight not the engine bay, then it is legal.

DAM, best i have gotten out of mine was 33ltrs after doing 200k's. For a full tank i might get to 250 for 45-50 litres around town, the previous owner said he was getting around 320 a tank but that was never boosting it (has a standard turbo) i did a highway trip last night, filled it up before i left, is at 1/8th of a tank now and i have done 320k's, will get litres when i fill up today. The one thing this thread is missing is the ways to fix bad fuel economy. Its an R33. fmic, exhaust, pod running standard bov and standard boost on 98ron.

I know for a fact that in vic mobil and bp use the same fuel since bp dosnt make any fuel in vic and it is too expensive to transport it from sydney so they buy it off mobil, i know this from talking to tanker drivers, they all load up out of the mobil refinery in yarraville.

Thats why i bought the $1000 pioneer 9850bt cd player, go for the best and have no problems, has been sent back twice and the blue tooth hands free (one of the reasons for buying it) dos'nt connect to my nokia properly and always drops out when i can get it to connect, no fix for that, pioneer are blaming nokia for the problem, although the old blue ant hands free i use in the truck is older than my phone and has no problem connecting or keeping the connection, but the head unit that is around the same age as my phone cant keep a connection and its nokia's fault?? If i had bought a $250 ebay unit i would expect this shit and not be so pissed off but when you buy the top of the line product you expect better than this, wont be buying pioneer again.

Does the intake pipe go to the same position as where the afm would be when using a standard airbox? Where are you, if out side vic how much for postage?

Lately my battery has had less and less power to start, never has not started but there are the signs of a problem ahead, i assumed either the alternator or battery, tonight though, when i was driving home the alt light would start to come on, the higher the revs the brighter the alt light, if i am correct the higher the revs the more power it should put out not less? Has anyone had this problem before and what did you do to fix it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
