i marked the old one before pulling it out and put the new one in at the same position, i also tried moving it to see it it made a difference but it didnt.

how do i check that? I did replace the cas with another one i have here but its been sitting out in the car port for a while so im unsure if it works, the shaft has surface rust so im unsure what condition the internals would be in, it has not been in the rain tho.

I have checked everything except compression which im sure would not drop low enough on every cylinder that not 1 cylinder would fire and checking if the timing belt has slipped a tooth or two, the belt is still intact and tight. Also tried a different ecu and once again not a hint of firing on any cylinder. Any other suggestions?

I only had a noise test not a full epa.

From my experience they dont care, infact when i did mine he just made up a section after the rear flange in 2.5" to make it legal and tld me he would put my old one in the boot so i can put it back on after i have cleared the defect. That joiner is pretty much no different to a flanged connector.

A mate was moving my car off his front lawn, when he started it spluttered and stopped and now there is not a hint of it even wanting to fire. I have checked my power fc sensor check and every thing looks fine, i changed the ignition module with no luck, the cas is showing 2-3 degree's when cranking and 0 if unplugged, have unplugged the tps, cas and afm with no difference but they all do should up as faulty in the sensor check screen, i can here the fuel pump prime but just to be sure i took the fuel line off and there is plenty of fuel flow. From here i have no idea what to check next, any idea's would be great.

all sorted, turned out to be a broken wire on the plug, probably should have checked that first..............

I have already tried replacing both temp sensors but still nothing, there is no temp reading at all just a line where the temp should be.

I am having an issue with my temp sensor, the power fc hand controller is just showing a line and not displaying a temp, obviously this is changing the map to a point that it wont start when its cold, problem is that the car is stuck at work, any one know of a way to by pass this reading to get the car started so i can get it home?

Not true, adjustable coil overs that can lower the car below legal height are illegal (have only heard of one person being knocked back on an rwc for it) there is a thread or part of a thread on here some where about it, there are only two brands that are legal, i cant remember which ones they are. That being said the chances of being defected for them on the road is extremely minimal.

I picked up my jb clutch from being repaired yesterday, he put different pucks on it and seems to think that it should be a lot nicer now as the old ones were way too big, i'll put it back in and hope for the best.

i use these on my tv in the lounge room, awesome quality.

For any one else with this problem i found that you have to go into your control panel and set it up so you get email notifications again, every thing seemed to be set so no notifications will be sent.

So it slips like a stocker when taking off in traffic? the jim berry i have now has 4000lbs of clamping force and is an absolute prick to get off the line unless you dump it, the one thing that might be differnt is that the jim berry only has 6mm (i think thats what was written on it) of travel, makes it very hard to slip.
