  1. Thanks mate. And yeah your right on the intercooler, bit of a sh!t job on that. Will post up some better ones once i get the chance to do some. Cheers.
  2. maybe put a thread in the Computer Art section and ask someone to photoshop it? And post up a nice 3/4 shot like in your sig for them to work with. Just an idea.
  3. I think it would look alright just on the rear. On a stock(ish) looking car obviously would be out of place but it could look alright as long as the rims and kit compliment it.
  4. ^^ i think a 95 r33 gts-t mate.
  5. They do look ok on the outside. Can't comment on the interior thought haven't seen it. They said it was good value for money, because it had only gone up $700 in price (i think for the base model) since 10 years ago.
  6. Wheels car of the year 2007 is the Mercedes Benz C-Class. Who agress? Who SHOULD have won? Discuss.
  7. that is damn hot. always liked these cars. too bad i don't have cash.
  8. mate to be honest i think sending them photos etc. is just a waste of time. go down there in person, explain the situation (be nice, at first) and then if they refuse to accept responsibility, let loose. go get your quotes done, print all the pictures etc (if you haven't already) and take them with you. I'm sure the council isn't going to just hand cheques out like flyers so gather all your evidence before you go. good luck mate hope you get it all sorted.
  9. Find a place which will give you an expensive quote and send that to them. Then go to the cheaper place. LOL
  10. nuR.spec damn you had some nice cars.
  11. that thing is hot!!!
  12. NO MORE CALDER GUYS http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wt...74#entry3587874
  13. How about, should the organisers greed die off, we will happily reduce fees and see more competitors attend. Stupid really. Want too much, get nothing.
  14. That's looks crazy. Anyone know why they used two intercoolers, rather than one large one (thus giving it a larger surface area)?
  15. Mayuri Krab, why would you go for the cheaper jap alternative if you could afford a BMW? And I get what you mean by family friends constantly trying to show them off. Have quite a few of them with BMW's etc. It's pretty funny though. We drive a magna thats paid off unlike many family friends BMW's. At the end of the day though, who owns the better car? or who's car is worth more? Got to say our magna is, because technically they don't own the car. It's all about image, get over it and drive something you can afford without a loan.
  16. LOL how about pics to generate interest mate? put up some more info.
  17. I live in south yarra and go through toorak everyday. The majority of the BMW's and Mercs there are all entry model. A lot of rich folk who drive BMW's and Merc's can barely drive. Why would they need a top spec model when there's only a few interior differences and the major difference being the engine. They don't buy them for the thrill they give you every time you jump behind the wheel. Most skyline drivers buy skyline's for the thrill they give you. I agree 100%. They are leased, and usually upgraded to the latest model when they come out. Doesn't this save them on tax or something? Not 100% sure but some business owners lease it under the business' name and they're earnings come under a cheaper tax bracket? (Don't quote me on this but thats how I always thought it worked) I agree to this too. It's more about image than build quality. And you can't generalise and say the 3-series bmw's are bottom end. They're aimed towads a different market than the 1/5/6/7/M series BMW's. For a family car, would you rather a top spec 130i, or the entry level 318i? Being around the same price range i would still probably go for the 3 series being the larger car, even though it might not be as optioned up.

    Another One

sucks to be him i think he deserves more than just a weekend without a car.
  19. Hey mate, teh reason you have 10 holes is for different cars with a different PCD. Can't remember exact specs but there are two different PCD's in 5 stud. And i've never heard of a car coming with 9 holes? The holes would overlap each other and make them unusable. In multistud it's either 10 (5 stud) or 8 (4 stud rims). Anyway hope you find what you need bud.
  20. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...36#entry2606536 And there is a r34 conversion DIY. Good luck buddy.
  21. buddy he said search. here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...+conversion+gtt go to abo bob's post (post 14)
  22. What model are you going to be going for in the 3 series? Correct me if i'm wrong but top spec (before m3) is the 335i (twin turbo 6cylinder). These do come in sedan form aswell correct? Whatever you buy just make sure it's black
  23. Euro cars are the sh!t. But i guess they're more of a daily and a "cruise" car. If I could afford it I would go for a nice e46 with a racing dynamics kit and wheels on it. Prestige at its best. Or for the merc side, nice brabus kit or something. At the end of the day, roads aren't race tracks and we can't get sports cars to perform at their best. If it's in your price range maybe try an audi a4 quattro, awd and turbo (model-specific). Not sure how they go but in my opinion they look great. The interior is rather nice too.
  24. with people already bringing in examples for race-use only, im sure there will be at least a few rich folk heading out to buy one, but hey i could be wrong. That's true. Do you mean the price of compliance for the buyer, or the price of compliance to be able to comply it? Of course the cost for the buyer will be high, but if you can afford an R35 in the first place, you can probably afford compliance on such a vehicle. Only time will tell I guess.
  25. try getting a 10 second pass using a manual then you'll see why. and i would think vn's are a fair bit lighter than r33/r34's. r32's might be around the same weight, but you would still struggle to get a 10 second pass with a manual. good luck selling bud.
