Will the reset have a good effect on my car even if my ECU is standard? i have some mods done, and recently my mechanic retarded my timeing.... just wanna know if you guys think i should go ahead with the ECU reset. btw will the reset change my timeing back to normal?

Hi guys n girls! my mate with a 1994 GTST R33 has a problem. He turns his lights on at night and they work fine, but his dash and rear lights dont come on! when he brakes his brake lights come on but the normal rear ones dont!!! anyone had this prob? how can he fix it? cheers!

im interested in knowing this aswell.. i have a brant imobilser and alarm, and heaps of mods, but i was wondering if i should reset my ECU.. does it make a difference if my ECU is the standard one? or r u guys talking about reseting a aftermarket ECU?

Actually jimbo i wasnt attacking anyone in the thread, i was pointing out the fact that my question was simple, and it was turned into a joke.... Therefore i think your wrong when u say i was "attacking" someone... im new to this forum, so i didnt even realise the post was taken away... Therefore i didnt know wether to edit mine. i guess out of all the guys in the forum, u took it upon your self to assume im in the wrong and for me to take a "chill pill".. Also when people say for no reason, quote - "Mac does seem to have a bit of an attitude, even towards people who are only trying to give him the info he is asking for ".
