my preference is to take it somewhere use to dealing with cars that aren't worth about 15% of the value of my car Ie ya standard young 'enthusiast' shop

You think lexus parts are cheap? My IS headlight was $3.5k no globe.. Wing mirror glass $800 Having said that no car parts are cheap but anything higher end price just escalated as less people work on them, supply parts and so on Not like the old days where you work on your own car

Each to their own but heard heaps of horror stories buy old prestige cars then shocked when something stuffs up and the repair bill is thousands!
