I will give you a hint, Multiplier and Cones is where most of points lie. I do have photos on the g.f's phone of the results of the 18.5 million run.
-
In regards to the window rubbers also if your doors have sagged (like my R32) don't go through them..... I did have a towel in the car to hold up against window by a strange stroke of luck but yeah got a little wet.

In regards to a GT Killer.... NOT EVEN CLOSE, Personally I don't think GRID is a NFS killer. I must admit though I am addicted to drifting the S15 in the demo and just to let you know how easy it is my current highest drift score on the 3 laps is 18.5 Million. The hardest boss for drift in the demo gets around 1.5-1.7 million just so you can compare.

As mentioned your TV needs to support NTSC but most TV's do now and have done so for years. If unsure there may be a sticker on the back of the TV that lists model number and such that should also state if it is PAL/NTSC. Only difference between Aus and USA versions so far is the hookers. I haven't found this missing footage yet.

7k still sounds low. My R32 GTS-T is insured for $13500 so take away excess I will still get $11000-$12000. I have also let them know about the Pindent on my rear quarter and the only mods it has is bodykit, wheels, steering wheel, exhaust and pod. Sorry about your car man, I would understand how you feel if my car ever got stolen. I have wanted a skyline for years and was driving around in a Gemini dreaming of the day it would be a skyline I was in.

that first video posted is from the Jeremy Clarkson Motorworld movies (Motorworld Japan). I believe they were released in the early 90's and you can get other countries including Australia.

You gonna get some wider guards for the rear to "complete" the look? -
Grand Theft Auto Iv For Ps3 And Xbox360
Triptych replied to Beer Baron's topic in PC & Games Discussion
I have ordered my Uncensored version of GTAIV for PS3 from Play-asia. Still picking up my Oz special edition as well. -
I am upto S-Class now, Just wondering if anybody has finished S-Class yet as I am interested in knowing what car is given to you once you finish it. S-Class is a pain but hopefully I will have sorted by the end of the weekend.

Well go out and buy Prologue now. With the latest update it is now called "GT Prologue Spec II"
-
I use my couch and table... Room isn't big enough for a cockpit. I did have plans on my PC somewhere for building one for the G25 but it would be easy enough to make your own.
-
Yeah the clutch works fine and it is needed to change gears once enabled. On the G25 the buttons located on the Shifter unit act the same as controller buttons. So if you look above the D-Pad you will see 4 buttons (not the red ones below it) and if you know you PS controller well those 4 buttons are the same for square, X, Triangle and Circle.
-
Well once I have now got Prologue and have had a G25 for ages now so I guess I will find out how it goes with the PS3. It goes nicely with the GT Prologue demo but no clutch support. From what I hear the real Prologue (downloading updates for it now) supports the clutch.

Top Gear Critises Skylines
Triptych replied to skyline-driver's topic in General Automotive Discussion
haha that is from Motorworld Japan. I didn't finish the quote because who cares if his arse was sore driving it, He still mentioned it was the best car he had ever driven at the time. [edit] Looks like they cut the end of it out as well. He says it is one of the best cars he has ever driven but one of the worse he has ever sat in or something. -
Top Gear Critises Skylines
Triptych replied to skyline-driver's topic in General Automotive Discussion
If you wanna know what clarkson thinks of Skylines maybe find a copy a copy of Jeremy Clackson Motorworld Japan. He drives a R32 GTR V-SPEC in it. -
If you are talking about the cheap KYB shocks then I recommand steer clear. I am running some in my R32 GTS-T and the stock shocks were so much better. I was running mine to get me by till I could upgrade my suspension but too many things have come up this year so far so I am stuck with them for awhile longer and its bad.

Every Wednesday I spot NUR34 on my way to drum lessons in Underwood.

Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead..... Seriously if you didn't see the world turning blu even before the war was over you had to be blind. The only place that HD DVD was actually doing rather well was in the U.S from memory. PS3 would have been a huge advatage for BD because every PS3 is a BD Player sold. There was some shakey ground with PS3 sales but they have panned out nicely. As one of my friends said "If toshiba ever make BD Players I am going to buy one just to rub their noses in it". Simple fact is they just wanted to cause consumer confusion for the last few months and rake in some more money while doing it. BD was in for the long haul no matter what.

haven't heard of the ANZ Visa one, In theory it should work as long as there is no address it has to confirm. I have only ever gone the Mastercard Gift Card route.

ARGH DON'T SAY THERE IS NO CURRENT WAY TO PURCHASE FROM THE US STORE!! I will let you know how to do it right now. It is the same method I use. After you have set up a US account and you try adding your credit card details you run into the problem of your credit card address not matching your address on your US account. So how do I get around this whole "checking the mail address on the credit card" thing, Well it is rather simple. Head down to your local Westpac bank walk upto the counter and say "I would like to purchase a Mastercard Gift Card Please". Put whatever amount of money you want on this gift card and use the Mastercard Gift Card to as your credit card on the US Store. There is a $4.95 setup on the gift card so I would recommand putting $100 on the card just so it lasts you a little while. Being a Gift Card Credit Card there is no address on the card for the store to have to confirm and therefor you are set. Here is a link to the Mastercard Gift Card on the westpac website. http://www.westpac.com.au/internet/publish...c%20gift%20card

Just Car Insurance How Good Is It?
Triptych replied to Tamrb26's topic in General Automotive Discussion
ok here we go Age: 25 Car: 1992 R32 GTS-T Rating: 1 Price: $1088 + $35 for Rating 1 Protection Agreed Value: $12550 Excess: $400 Standard Excess. $1000 Thieft Excess Covered Mods: Body Kit, Steering Wheel, Exhaust, Wheels and Tyres ($1700), Stereo ($1500) It is true about where you are means alot but it doesn't just go by cars stolen, It goes by how much people make a claim. For example my friend is paying an extra $200 a year for his insurance now then when he use to live in the same area as me. The area he is in now is abit more upperclass with not a high car theift rate but the people have the extra money to spend to cover their excess everytime something happens to a car. Also they may not have the knowledge nor the time to get the job done themself. -
Its funny how humans have evolved. There was a time when stealing a loaf of bread could legally lead to your death. These days it seems like no matter what you do if it ends in death people must feel sorry for them. Personally yes I think its sad that they lost their lives but in all honesty they bought it upon themselves. As mentioned people have died for less in our history. As everybody is taught in school, Every action as a reaction and this was the reaction from some very bad choices they made. I feel sorry for the person that had the knife pulled on him, sure he didn't lose his life but for a few seconds/minutes he would have felt that his life could be ended by a complete stranger over something so small in the grand scheme of things being his car and money.

Thanks for all these pictures guys, My friends thought I was crazy for thinking of putting a pod in that location because not many people do it so there must be a reason for it not to be done. So confused now on if I will move the pod or go the setup Keymaker mentioned.
-
I would keep the standard airbox and stuff but the car came with a pod on it so I don't have the standard setup and with amount some people are charging for the standard setup + good filter + CAI setup it would work out cheaper to buy a better pod get some pipe and fibreglass my own box. I can keep the pod in its current location and some problems have been mentioned with moving it so it might be best just to try setup something to get some cooler air flow into the engine pay instead of moving the pod. Once again thanks to all you guys with the input. Im sure it could be done well keeping most of the stuff out but if too much air flow can cause an issue then its not worth it. Also I might go the route you did keymaker and just box the pod in the engine bay and run some pipe down for some cold air.

This maybe of no help because I own a R32. I had the same problem when I got the car the door light on dash was always on. I dunno if the R33 is different but the R32 does have a boot sensor which is where my problem was. I discovered this after replacing both my door sensors. In the R32 there is a wire that runs under the carpet next the door on the Drivers Side that connects to the boot sensor. Seeing as though it runs under the seatbelt mount at some point of time it became tangled and broke the wire and that was my problem. I fixed the wire and now my door light goes off. I would recommand checking your wires before replacing door sensors. I got no idea where the sensor is in the boot but as I mentioned if its the same as the R32 the wire runs next to the drivers seat under the carpet near the door.
