I am a fan of the veilside kit on the R32 hence why I have one. But the 34 and 33 kits I am not a huge fan of. Good to see other person who shares my view on the VS kits.

I hope everything gets sorted unlike what happened to me just before I got my skyline. My bedroom is basically where the garage use to be and getting woken up by brakes locking up and a loud bang right near you isn't the greatest feeling in the world. Basically druken bogan was trying to do burn outs and powerslides in a car that wasn't his and ended up going through my front fence into a 10th anniversy jeep. Our driveway is pretty much just longer then the length of the car and is wide enough for 2 cars, He had enough speed on him to push the front of the jeep through the side fence and the back of it half way across the drive way. Luckily the jeep was the only car in the driveway at the time (after he came his car was there to), He did a runner but came back to grab his coke because he couldn't drink his booze straight. Cops came and got him and he was breath tested at 3 times over the legal limit. There is alot more to the story but that gives you an idea.

You are right I forgot beer.... I am thinking the next project should be a Integra shopping list car as it was an integra that inspired me to do that chop. I will either get a pic of an integra or get a better side on pic of my skyline and build a new shopping list car. I remembered to add cheese twice because you can never have enough cheese

Just to help out abit incase your wondering what a "shopping list" is in reference to I modified my skyline in photoshop to help show you.

if you are saying what I think you are saying you have the same problem with me and my R32. If I arm the alarm it will only lock the passangers door not the drivers door. If I use the key in the drivers door it locks both passangers and drivers door. I am guessing maybe they wired the alarm up to a wire running to do passangers door which I dont think is a master in the central locking where it should be running to the drivers instead. Although that is just a theory.

I agree the PS3 is worth every cent they are charging for it. I got it on launch night so I paid full price. My ps3 is used as a media server (streaming movies, tv shows, music etc off my comptuer) and media player (DVD and Blu Ray) and also as a gaming console. I am sure the console will drop in the price by christmas or there will be a good christmas deal going on but right now it isn't too bad with sony offering the PS3, Resistance Fall Of Man, Motorstorm, and 2 controllers for $999 which happens to be what I paid for just the console. Also to the people that say you NEED a hdtv to enjoy the PS3 that is abit of a lie. I was amazed with the output quality on my SDTV but you are right it looks like alot better on HDTV as I now have the PS3 running through my Projector at 720p for games and 1080i for movies.

I say crush his car, It seemed to be only thing that got through to him in the interview. Just for fun limit his license so he can only drive one of those motorised things you see the old people going around the steets on. If he can get that thing to 290kmph he has some talent.

alright guys the center air vent in my R32 was cracked when I got the car so I needed to replace it sooner or later. Lets just say from a couple of months driving the cracks got worse then last weekend while changing from 1st to 2nd the fins from the vent came flying out so I guess its time to replace to vent. I am mainly after a center air vent for the dash but if the price for a dash is not too much more I will take the whole thing. Cheers Adam.

Alright here is my game list yet again. Blu Ray Titles: Resistance Fall Of Man <--- Great Game F1 CE <--- Haven't had a chance to play it much but seems pretty good F.E.A.R <--- Story Mode was pretty good but online I didn't enjoy Oblivion <--- Got bored with it after a couple of days Tony Hawk <--- Don't bother wasting ya money Tiger Woods PGA <--- Pretty good, I never found golf relaxing so this game does annoy you if your like me Fight Night Round 3 <--- Good game to play after Tiger Woods to get rid of all your anger, Well worth the money Motorstorm <--- Pretty good for the first few days but after that sorta gets boring Ridge Racer <--- Haven't played it much but seems like just another RR game PS Store Games: Tekken <--- I'm not very good at tekken so I can't rate the game Calling All Cars <--- Great game to keep you entertained for awhile Super Rub A Dub <--- Finished all the modes in a few hours, not too bad for sixaxis training Go Puzzle <--- Pretty good if you are into puzzle games, I would buy the 3 pack not just indivial packs.

I remember reading somewhere that TDK and Hitachi were working on 200gb blu ray discs. The Hitachi one was ment to be accessing 8 recording layers on a single side of the platter and was aimed to reach the market in 2009 (still awhile away I know but still in the PS3 life span). As for TDK they already have a 100gb prototype blu ray disc and as far as I can remember (i think this was from 2006) were working on a 200gb disc as well using the same 8 layer setup like the Hitachi unit.

Alright just got the car back from getting the wheel allignment and balance done. Ken was great guy he even pointed out some problems with the car for me to look into. All up it was $105 for the wheel allignment and all 4 wheels balanced. I will be using him in the future and can't say enough good things about him.

I guess the best advice I can give people is head down your local game store and play both systems. Sure the PS3 is sold as more then a gaming system and it does perform well as a gaming system and media hub. Personally the 360 doesn't appeal to me it seems like a very rushed console and for some reason I just can't stand the controllers. Depending on your own personal situation and tastes will decide what console you are going to go for, I wouldn't try to push the PS3 onto somebody or the 360 all you can do is tell them to research both consoles and make a choice based on what they discover and what delivers to their needs.

Comparing Xbox 360 to PS3 games currently isn't fair unless you are using 1st gen xbox360 games. But you are right once the PS3 hits the 2nd gen games (next year) we should start to see the graphics being pushed further, the problem is alot of developers are lazy and aren't wanting to push too hard because as it has been said time and time again the PS3 is a hard console to program for. I think Final Fantasy will be the first game to come out that will start push the PS3 as they were always pushing the PS2 and PS1 graphics to new levels and I am sure they will deliver on the new games. Im inteteresed in seeing what Resistance 2 will look like considering it already is a very nice looking game and still is a first gen title. I believe Ninja Gaiden is hitting the shelves this month or next month and after playing the demo that game is on my must buy list. The Darkness is coming as well either this or next month and the trailers for it look good but I might rent before buying that game. I think maybe we should start a PS3 game review thread to help out other forum members that might be looking into getting a PS3 so we can point them in the direction of games we have played and our opinions on them. I already own: Motorstorm, F1 CE, RFOM. Oblivion, Tony Hawk, Fight Night Round 3, Ridge Racer 7, Tiger Woods PGA, Super Rub A Dub (PSstore), Tekken (PSstore), GTHD (PSstore), Go Puzzle (PSstore) and will be getting Calling All Cars (PSstore) if it released this week.

My personal opinion after buying a PS3 on launch night I would say it has kept me very well entertained. The graphics are very nice (using Fight Night Round 3, Motorstorm and RFOM for examples), Online play works well for me, I never seem to have any issues getting into an online game, With the the new server setup streaming xvid and divx works rather well using Tversity and that also means I have my whole mp3 collection that is sitting on my PC at my finger tips on the PS3 as well. PS2 backwards compatability isn't really an issue for me, After playing some PS3 games then going back to PS2 graphics it sorta just doesn't work for me, I tried playing GTA again and lets say I gave up after abit because of the Graphic Quality of the games. The biggest letdown so far is the PSstore updates, I mean the Australian store is so far behind but as others have mentioned it is only early days yet but I don't understand why they couldn't have been working on the content that was released for the US to be ready for Day 1 on the UK/ANZ stores. I am enjoying my PS3, my dvd player no longer used as the PS3 can handle everything for me (dvd's, blu ray and streaming of Photos, Music and Video over the network). I agree that a price drop will help sell units but I must admit after getting the console home, playing and experiance all the firmware updates up to the current date I haven't regretted the $1000 I payed for the console plus how ever much I have spent in the PSstore and 9 or so games I own. If you enjoyed the PS2 you will enjoy the PS3, I think around christmas will be the best time to buy one if you are still sitting on the fence waiting on a console to buy because by then the PS3 should have some pretty good games available to buy but if you jump in early RFOM and Motorstorm should keep you entertained same with GTHD.
