  1. I see Ridge Racer!!! Whats it like? I have added it to my game pre-orders with the console as I have just got into play Ridge Racer on the PSP again. [Edit] In regards to the 24 hour room service I wonder if my g/f would be nice enough to provide that for me.
  2. Yeah I am going to check over the front end very carefully on that one. I very rarely see imported R32's coming in with GTR bonnets and grills. I know its a common mod to do but I haven't see too many on import sites such as imports101 and J-Spec. [Edit] I think I might have to add you to my list of people coming out to help me check it out AzzurrA
  3. Thanks guys, I am headed out on saturday afternoon to have a look at one and taking my brother (who is a mechanic) and also a friend of mine who is very into modifying cars but he is more into V8's to have a look with me. Also one of my aunty and uncle's sons does drag racing and is owner of a performance shop and deals with safety checks/road worthy and stuff so not only will I get a RACQ check done on it I might get him to come out one day with me to have a look over it as well. I will be checking every sticker on the car I can find to make sure they all match up and I had also forgotten about making sure the KM's it has done where all dead straight. I think I know of the place one of you guys mentioned on Logan Road that is dodgy. One of my friends purchased a R33 through one place with all these mods listed on it through a car dealer on Logan Road a couple of years back and after he had signed the paper work and paid for it he went to pick it up when it was ready and got a stock R33. Luckily all the mods were listed on the paper work he signed so he ended up taking them to court.
  4. Don't worry it will be recieved very well in my hands I will be sure to upload a few pics of it when I pick it up on March 23rd
  5. I prefer the shape of the R32 over the shape of the R33, Personal prefence. 14k in my mind is way too expensive for a R32. AzzurrA is also correct in saying that 14k is fairly cheap from most dealers but I still wouldn't pay more then $12500 for a R32. If I do get it from a dealer then I will check through the whole warrenty and sus it out. No point in paying for an extended warrenty if it isn't going to cover anything. The R32 I am looking at through the dealer that I want to talk down in price is located at brisbane unique cars. If you search the tradingpost website you will find it. It is black and listed at $13950 I am a little confused on the front bar that its on it. It sorta looks like the GTS4 front bar and also appears to have GTR bonnet and grille on it. I will see what nissan fast comes up with if I go and check this car out.
  6. I would prefer to buy from a dealer. Just for the fact this is my first import and would like some form warrenty. The car I was looking at on the boostimports website has now sold. I have found another skyline I like but they dealer is asking 14k. If I can get it down to 12.5k I will be happy.
  7. I have around 15k but would like to spend around 12k. Would prefer stock over modded for the simple fact I will mod the car later and that way I have control over what mods have been.
  8. Alright guys I am currently in the market to buy a R32 GTS-T. I have had a look at boostimports and there is one their I like the look of but the test drive will be the final factor. I would prefer to have a couple of places to look at and I don't want to import myself so would prefer to buy one already imported at a dealer. So if there are some good places you guys know about please let me know. Also what tunning places do you guys recommand? I don't mind driving extra distance for a good tuner that I can build a history with when I get the car. Cheers Adam.
  9. mrbenno, If you shoot me a PM with your address I can send you the 92 race, Its in xvid format and not the greatist of quality but still watchable.
  10. I have a full version of the 92 race sitting on my computer. I would upload it somewhere but being 644mb big and my upload speed is capped by optus it is abit of problem. I would actually be interested in finding a R32 GTR Nismo Edition (I think only 500 were made) that if I remember correctly they had to make so they had a production car closer to spec of the race car.
  11. Hopefully that will be me soon, Its time for a new car and I have been looking at R32 Skylines for a number of years of now. If my personal loan gets approved I will take it for a test drive next week. Never driven a turbo car or a skyline but have always dreamed of it.
  12. I got my PS2 right after their first price drop. I remember I got it from Myers because they had a Special on it for about $550. I was too young to be able to afford that much money back then but I had been nagging my parents for one for ages so they caved and put one on layby for me. My mum also enjoys playing video games (she has now taken ownership of my old consoles so she has a SNES, Gamecube, PSone, and N64) and she likes games on all those consoles. The only old consoles she hasn't got off me yet is my PS2 and Dreamcast (give the dreamcast all the crap you want but it was a good console just for Shenmue alone). Man after reading through that I am sounding more and more like a geek... The main reason I didn't import a PS3 is because I still haven't researched the Blue Ray Region coding and also I have alot of PS2 games I still enjoy playing but the console will be going to my mum when I get my PS3. Its good now being old enough to afford the stuff I want (I am 24) and I don't own a skyline yet but am looking at getting a 93 R32 GTS-T soon. Would much rather a R32 GTR (for the whole kicking ass at bathurst effect) and a R34 but I'm not rich enough for that yet [Edit] My PS3 Controller is here, It is alot lighter then the PS2 Controller and the L2 and R2 buttons are rather nice as well. Seeing as though I still have 5 weeks till the PS3 is released here I am going to try connect the controller to the PC. I can confirm you can charge the controller via USB in XP and XP will see the controller as a PS3 controller but the buttons do not work. I am installing my bluetooth hub to see if I can get the buttons working over that and I will let you guys know how it goes. [Edit] I have found drivers to get the PS3 controller working via USB and have tried them out and they do work. If anybody needs them send me a PM and I will send them to you. Also the tilt doesn't work when connected to PC just so you guys know. Am working on Bluetooth now.
  13. at the moment you can only import games, Release dates for games are around launch here so maybe hit up play-asia, works out cheaper but the RFOM game has blood cut out of it for the Asian market so I have been told so might be better to wait for it to be released here.
  14. Well they are going to be making some money off me. I have had my PS3 pre-ordered since March last year. I just went and put 5 games on pre-order for launch and I have a Sixaxis controller and PS2 Memory card adaptor coming from Hong Kong at the moment. BRING ON MARCH 23rd!!
  15. Well it is a next gen console and why would sony bundle it with a HDMI cable? It supports HDMI yes but does everybody who is going to buy console have a TV that supports HDMI the answer to that is no. Even though LCD TV's are now being sold more then the old tube format but even buying an LCD doesn't mean it will have HDMI. Well I am still waiting for sony to announce the release date here (meant to be done by the end of the month) so I can go and collect my pre-order in March (if all goes to plan).
