I dont check this area often but how could I say no to that challenge.
-
if that falls through let me know man.

Any updates on this? Wheel Revolution is nice and close to me but I have heard nothing but good things about Depulu so I am thinking my rims will go there. Not much needing fixing on mine but they really need a polish and stuff. This is the worse mark and worse rim, The other rims are really just a polish job

Mine was sent up to brisbane from a place in Sydney but it took forever due to issues beyond the control of the place I ordered it from. I would look into DMD as I have heard good things about their kits and they will post as well. This was for a R32 not a R34 (which I am guessing you drive judging by your info on the left). If I remember correctly the old DMD R34 ran a Do Luck kit.

I gave it a spin for you

it does look really nice though but I don't think I could pull that off on the Do Luck kit thats going on the R32 in the next few weeks. I guess I will wait and see with the do luck kit and see if there is any way it can work with it.

How long before you try carbon wrap it

I guess there isn't alot of LMGT owners. I have given up Rays nuts and have now ordered some Nismo nuts which are meant to be 17mm compared to the Rays 19mm which will hopefully give me the clearance I need.
-
Alright guys I thought I would post here to see if anybody has any ideas. I have purchased some LMGT3's rims and some Rays Lug Nuts the problem is the Rays nuts seem to be slightly too big (only a couple mm max) to fit in the lug nut holes. Does anybody know of some locking lug nuts that will fit or is it at all safe to actually bore the lug nut holes out a little bit to fit the lug nuts. The reason I ask about boring the holes is I will be taking the rims to a shop for cleaning up and thought I would ask them when down there but don't want to do something unsafe.

Hey guys just wondering if anybody has some LMGT4 center caps they could measure up or does anybody know if they will fit early rims such as the LMGT3. I got a set of 17" LMGT3's here that the center caps are broken on and was wondering if I could fit LMGT4 center caps to them instead.

Tyre Size Questions
Triptych replied to Triptych's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Cheers for that buddy, So the 40 and 45 are the correct sizes. Sorry I don't know too much about tyres as you can prolly tell but I always thought the 40 and 45 etc was the height of the tyre itself which is why I was under the impression that I was running to different heights. So I would still hunt down some 215 x 45 to match the 235 x 40. -
Wtb: R32 C-Pillar Trims, Qld
Triptych posted a topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey guys, I am after a set of R32 C-Pillar trims in good condition. It doesn't matter if the material is peeling off just as long as the plastic underneath is still fully intact. Let me know if you have some and how much your chasing. Would prefer to get them ASAP. Cheers -
Hey guys, I recently picked up a set of Nismo LMGT3's but the tyre size on them has me confused. The rims are 17" and the fronts are 7" and the rears are 8" but I am confused about the tyre size that is on them. The rear tyres are 235x40 but the front tyres are 215x45. The bit that has me confused is that seeing as though they are 17" rims shouldn't it be either 40 or 45 all the way around. I need to replace the fronts so I was wondering should I try and find tyres that are 215x40 to match the rears therefor giving me the same height all the way around or am I looking at this wrong?

I will assume your talking about the front indicator next to headlight. It is very straight forward, there is one screw ontop that you will see mounted to the radiator support (you will find it easily once the bonnet is open) and besides that all that holds it in is a ball socket in the headlight and it slides into a section front guard. The method I use to remove my front indicators is. 1. Unscrew phillips head (star) screw from the top of the indictor 2. Pull indicator away from the headlight to pop out ball socket (it just pops in and out, can be tight) 3. Slide indicator away from the guard I can get some photos if you need them but it is pretty straight forward. All you should have to do is pop the old one out and put the new one in and all should be sweet. I am onto my 3rd set of front indicators

Genuine R34 Gtr V-spec 2 Aluminium Pedal Group Buy!
Triptych replied to PM-R33's topic in Group Buys
For the price of the ones on ebay I would hit up Kudos as they are currently selling them as well for around the same price as the ebay link. They are a sponser here but I am unsure if I can post a direct link or not but here it is. http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/nissan-pedal-set-sports-aluminium-genuine-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-inc-gtr-p-63.html -
At this rate Zennon might have to sacrifice sleep for a few nights to align the headlights of all the Queensland members on the forums.

Hey guys and girls, I am just wondering if anybody can give me any idea on a place I can get a headlight alignment done for my R32 GTS-T. Its something that has been bugging me for ages and I know alot of people do it themselves but I have heard there are machines out there designed to get perfect alignment or even somebody that knows what they are doing because I don't. If somebody could point me in the right direction that would be great. Also I am logan so something not too far away but will travel for great service. Thanks in advanced.

Projector Headlights Adjustment?
Triptych replied to starscream_r32's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
They are what you are looking for. The drivers side one is a pain with where the battery is and all. Also I have heard of them failing on some people as well. Just so you understand the top one (closest to the bonnet) is the left and right adjustment with the bottom one the up and down adjustment. -
not a great job in photoshop but here they are. I hope I removed the right sections Ztune GTR
-
Hey buddy, How much are you chasing for both sides of the rear upper trim (The parts that run around the quarter window above the rear door cards)? And would you be willing to post to QLD with the postcode 4132. I have outlined the part I am looking for on this image and need both sides.

Just a quick correction the car that is behind is always at fault unless the front car was in reverse. If you hit somebody from behind at traffic lights or braking hard then yes your at fault but if that person was in reverse gear (they don't even have to moving just gear engaged and reverse lights on) then they are at fault.

My Mission Is To Fully Modernise The R32 Gtr Look
Triptych replied to GTRAAH's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
the simple fact of the matter is this, You modify a car to your own tastes because at the end of the day it is you who is going to have to live with it day in and day out. I have wanted to do a full digital instrument cluster in my R32 for awhile but the costs involved aren't really cheap, You may also want to look into a HUD as well just for shits and giggles. In regards to LED tail lights I have a set on my R32 as I wanted to know what they looked like and my original ones were leaking so I had to pull the out anyway to reseal them. Here are what my ones look like
