  1. Thanks Ben!!!! Thats all I needed. Confirms everything I needed to know. Cheers for that. Just means the 260's still run a hybrid C34/R34 ECU. Awesome
  2. I did that but I swapped a complete 260RS loom in, time consuming but no too hard.
  3. No issue. Cars runs mint I am just curious as to other 260RS ECU numbers, thats all.
  4. I have reshelled a 1998 260RS into my 96 RS-Four. The number I want to check is on the ECU itself behind the LH kick panel. Unfortunately I don't have FAST but if I can find the engine number perhaps someone can check it for me. Thanks Grim
  5. I know but everything I have found wiring wise, as I have just replaced EVERY scrap of wiring in my RS-Four with 260RS wiring was XXXXX-26UXX which is R33 yet the ECU was 23710-0A??? which is R34-ish. I should mention I suspect the engine is an R34 GTR unit
  6. Mine had a similiar problem, turned out to be the IAC valve & the 02 sensor. Cleaned the IAC out (actually I cleaned the throttle body at the same time) & unplugged the 02, fixed it right up. Later after I converted to manual I found it did the pop pop pop pop down hills etc & I could basically make it backfire when ever I wanted by giving it a rev on down changes...........loved it!!!!!! It would also do big floating flames out the back & the occasional backfire on up changes. I replaced the ECU & it fixed it for a while until the ECU re-learned itself. Engine was stock apart from 3" exhaust, FMIC, Pod & HKS SSQV. The sad part is my RB26 doesn't do it, well it did while I had no exhaust but not anymore
  7. Just mostly out of curiosity I am wondering if any 260RS owners could tell me what their part number on their engine ECU. I would assume that it will be 23710-26U00 or similiar (ala R33 GTR) and obviously RS-Four will be 23710-0V??? but my engine ECU number is not even close to either of those. I suspect it is R34 but not sure................ Anyone?
  8. A local wreck
  9. Conversion (EVERYTHING!!!!), have so far only done the interior. So it'll be a 260RS-Four
  10. Roof rails on mine also
  11. I currently have the opportunity to purchases a complete 260RS cloth interior but the seats are no more supportive than what I currently have (see first post/photo) so I'll just stick it out for some R33 GTR seats instead
  12. RR 1/4 (all suspension gone, RH Doors, LF Guard & Roof all toast. Otherwise all there. Heres a teaser : 260RS Notice anything a little bit 'different' about the picture?
  13. Actually yes. A complete wrecked 1998 260RS
  14. Yeah I would have but its all coming out for an RB26DETT/5 speed from a 260RS now
  15. No dramas, 1.8 to 2.0L's apparently
  16. Thanks for that. I am going to change the fluids next week sometime (haven't done it since I fitted the manual conversion) so was just curious what people were using. Now can anyone tell me how much I'll need?
  17. Probably more a question for those running manual Stageas but what sort of oil are people running in their transfer case? I've got some Elf stuff in mine (can't remember grade) but just curious
  18. Two words - Cable Ties What sort of boost were you running before the cooler? What was it peaking at after to hit the boost cut? I've just been messing around with my boost a bit but have reverted back to standard after I was seeing 1.1 bar at only 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. Made it difficult to drive somewhat
  19. I have an S1 & have probably only 180rwkw (if that) but with a manual conversion. I've done approx 8-10 standing start launches with no problems so far. For interests sake I did a [email protected]/h short shifting 2nd to 3rd & 3rd to 4th (stock boost/full interior)
  20. Yeah............I guess so
  21. Couldn't you just fit a venting BOV like a SSQV instead though?
  22. Ok.................But why?
  23. Could someone please explain what 'dose' is? Have you removed the blow off valve? I have a SSQV & an alloy intake pipe (a/f meter to turbo). The intake pipe just makes it a bit more noisey
