  1. Can any1 confirm if this indeed is the case with the R33's and if it also effects the R34's?
  2. Im going with buying a new exhaust manifold rather then extrude honing my old one. With the price it cost, a extra $600 for a new one gets my vote. Ebay has a genuine HKS cast one for $1150. Now thats about the same price for the 6boost ones! What are your thoughts about each one? Obviously the HKS would be first pick amoungst most people, but the 6boost looks like a different setup. hks http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HKS-TURBO-MANIFOLD-...bayphotohosting 6boost http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/category15_1.htm
  3. How much extra psi of fuel pressure can be safely increased? I have 480cc injectors and wanting to know how much more cc's with the added increase?
  4. I orderd my GT2835 with .87 a/r and turbineless kit. How much more lagger are we talking about when compared to the .6x a/r? Ive heard they are most affective at around 22psi but from the post ive read on here, it seems like around 19psi and they run out of puff. Im really hoping to crack the 300rwkw mark. I do have cams to help.
  5. I also have a NOS kit. So would head studs be needed? Say 75hp shot?
  6. GTR rid bolts would be stronger then the standard RB ones right? Yeah for piece of mind i really should. Where did you get them from?
  7. Im in the stage of buying parts to rebuild my R34 GTT engine. Since it uses standard GTR rods, I just want to get new rod bolts. Would a fresh set from nissan do or should i fork a set ARP ones? My power goal is 350rwkw.
  8. u must of purchased the car with the turbo already huh? What psi are u using to get that power? U got cams and internals?
  9. what a/r size u using sly33?
  10. How about performance gains? Any where near what a aftermarket one can add? 6boost manifolds look like the way to go although $1200. How about thermal wrapping it instead?
  11. Thank god i was just quoting what the UAS dude said.
  12. I spoke to the boys at UAS. They are not the ebay crap as stated before. The china ones are 2mm thick and use 302 steel. But all stainless will eventually crack. Street use should last awhile but on track, forget about it. It also comes donw to what turbo you are using. Since mine will be generating 20+psi, the heat would effect it dramitcally. They mentioned the other option on getting the standard one extrude honed. Any idea as to how much this can cost? Any noticeable gains in power? Weighting weather i should bit the bullet and go for a AM one but if i can get similar power from the standard one for half the price...WHY NOT?
  13. I have also orderd wiseco 40thou pistons. Still confused as to what thickness gasket to uses also. A mechanic told me it is best to use standrard size gasket and get the head machined to suit? I have GT2835pros and will be running approx 22psi. Not exactly engine friendly. Would a comp ratio of say 8.6 be suitable? I want the saftely but also want to maintain the response. Obviously to bring the comp up i would need to machine the head anyways or get a thinner gasket which i think wouldnt be the safes option.
  14. true...it is unfair to go bag something without proof. Any how i have ordered the HKS GT2835 with a .87a/r. I also am going to get internal work so will be pushing the turbo to its limits. That being said, with the 20+psi these huffers can get up to, besides the manifold, anything else is going to be restrivtive? I have tomei cams and onli 3"inch to cat and 3.5" there after. That may be a start?

  16. Looking at upgrading my standard exhaust manifold. Not even going to bother with the ebay crap. Heard bad things and pretty dam cheap for quality id say. Pay for what you get! Unique autosports offers one. Anyone have one? Would like to hear feedback on their quality and durability.
  17. what is the max power difference between the two a/r sizes? Is it enough and worth the scarifice of response?
  18. Is it true that you shoud upgrade the springs when installing bigger cams? Due to higher lift therefore more stress on them? What about valve bounch or float? Any one suffered from this and at what power levels?
  19. Ive been on nengun and greenline and duznt seem to be any for the NEO? I have tomei cams so prefferbaly same brand. Would R33 fit? Rebuilt engine with 2835 .8 a/r, would i even need them?
  20. i heard they respond good to a FPR. How much extra base pressure we talkn bot? Would this be enough to bump them up to say 500cc? Any idea what max power the 2835 .8 a/r make? Say around 315rwkw and i should be fine eh? Weighting up weather i should sell my brand new set for bigger ones? If i can get away with them then id save myself cash
  21. I have a set of 480cc nismo injectors for my GTT. At the time, i was going to use a GCG highflow which would be adequate. But since then i have changed my mind and going with 2835pros with .86 a/r. I also have tomei pump and FPR. Would my injectors max out before my turbo does?
  22. What is the max power the .86 a/r can make with cams? Is there much difference between the two sizes? How about the responsivness between each aswell?
  23. GT3040R 600hp 0.82 a/r (cost $1800) 44mm Tial wastegate .8 springbase (cost $590) High mount stainless manifold suit RB25DET (cost $250) ALL BRAND NEW & comes with orignal boxes. Genuine parts. Unwanted project Selling whole package as is for $2200. PM or 0433466016 Im from Perth
  24. Looking at the nengun site. Kit is only for .6 a/r. Is there a kit for the bigger a/r?? Also is there such a turbo kit for 3037s aswell? My goal is 300rwkw with cams
