  1. It was complied march last year and ever since then never been registered and sitting in the yard. But the day before the dealer sent it to the depo he got it registered to nsw. Dont know why thou but it rolled of the train with brand new nsw plates. I didn't need a emmision test.
  2. i brought my car from nsw. From a dealer thou so it made things alot easier and safer. I did fly over to inspect myself and also had a independant 210 point mechanical check. Transport was $1200. I'm sure you can get a good one locally and save time money ahd hassle. Mine is a vspec II so not many around in wa and for the price i paid had no choice but to fly over. But as mentioned before if you really must then get the inspection booked first pay then drive to depo.
  3. picked up my vspec II from nsw last tuesday and took it over the pits on thursday and passed. It has turbo back exhaust, rims and coilovers. Did the inspection at east perth. Really nice guy and was more interested in my car then the inspection lol.
  4. well they cost a fair bit and its red colour so will go good with my black gtr. Plus im selling my gtt and want to keep them.

  6. guys i got abit of a dilema. I have a gtt with bride seats and rails to suit already fitted. My other 34 gtr has stock seats and rails. How would i go about swapping the seats? Could i modify the seats to suit the rails?
  7. are there any pits here that do inspections by appointments? Last time i went to welshpool the dam line was pass the outside gate. From memory i was there for 3hrs. My car is stock bar cat back so shouldn't have problem passing. More concerned about not waitng to pass. Is midland busy? Also where do i ring for temp moving permit?

  9. the parts i am refering to are the c/f nismo z-tune style skirts & nismo c/f rear pods from musecret. It looks like the skirts would be placed onto the factory skirts correct?

  11. Any thoughts/opinons on how carbon fibre skirts would go onto a black r34 gtr? Or should i just paint them the same colour as the car? Any pics?
  12. daily tune is at 550rwhp..safest tune possible. Its the lowest power it will make even with timing taken out. A bigger wastegate would bring the power lower. Goes to show what it can produce. It's rarely driven if any. Parks in the garage collecting dust. Really ashame and needs to be driven more to do it justice
  13. nah sorry mate just brought myself 34 v-spec 2. Just took the gtt for a run last night as been sitting in garage for over a month. Dam this things mean and crazy.

  15. there's a 2002 R34 GTR V-Spec II im considering atm. Im going to inspect it in the next few days. At this point in time i have only seen photo's. But the bonnet does not have the vent which i thought V-spec II have? When I'd asked him about it he said that the cbf bonnet with the vent is a added option? Am i missing something in the 2002 model? The seats are aftermarket aswell so couldn't even tell if the orignals were the darker colour. Either its a v-spec I with a VII badge or for some stupid reason someone decided to change the orginal bonnet?

  19. nah i dont think i want to bother with it because i really think getting it over the pits would be a nightmare! More trouble then its worth. Thanks for the heads up guys. But i found another 99 GTR R34 V-spec midnight purple III with 37k km, stock, only 1 owner from jap, orginal log books mint condition. Dealer is asking $62K. What you guys think? Is it worth it? I could get another cheaper but i really like this colour. He said his basically getting his money back because his got another 3 GTR's and he just wants to turn over the stock.
  20. i cant find any direct flights from perth to avalon. Only conneting flights dam it! Hey RBPOWA what if i were to compensate you for fuel and your time, could you go and check out this car for me? Seems like to much hassel to fly over with my work etc. I can always rely on the full mechanical report as peace of mind but want someone to verify the paint/body rather then go off photos. But yet again could just go by what the pannel beater says...maybe im just to paranoid and fussing over nothing? lol
  21. holy shit 1hr from the airport in a taxi? Here in perth one hr and u pretty much cover the whole place
  22. Will be flying to Geelong (3220) to inspect a car. Have no idea about anything outside perth. Flight will be landing at Tullamarine Airport. How long drive to Geelong? And how long drive back from Geelong to melbourne airport? Also will be asking seller to arrange before hand, full mechanical check including compression test etc from a workshop, and a panel beater of some sort to inspect the body. Any good places to reccommend? Also any other points i may need aswell would be greatly appreciated? And if in future anyone from vic needs assistance from here in perth then i would gladly help out
