  1. brand new spitfires/plugs. Im sure they would of checked them 1st. I think it would b a process of elimination with the obvious first. U would think paying top dollar for brand name parts known the dam stuff bloody works to start of with
  2. yep plug n play mate. I doubt its that but who knows. Well if it starts with the stock harness then yes. What else could cause the cylinders nt to fire?
  3. theres problems gettin the engine stared. Its only running on 2 cylinders. They pin pointed it dwn to a possible faulty hks ignition amplifer?? Even thou its brand new! And apparently its not the 1st unit they encountered with the same prob. So they goin 2 plug up the orignial harness n see. Has any1 heard of the same thing happing and could there also be another factor?
  4. they did one in a vl before but using a r33 head. Its more of a drag car and pretty serious stuff. I think after doing my car them boys could do another with their eyes closed and upside down. And any doubts they had they made sure to take the extra precautions to ensure max reliability.
  5. intererest to know this aswell because if my cams are choking then will need to upgrade to something bigger. And 8k rpm is plenty for me.
  6. clutch set me back 2350 delivered. Nope no permits at all Its all about who you know thou. Yep top racing is tunnig it early next week
  7. will be interesting to see what power i can achive with my cam/turbo combo. As mentioned before, poncams 260 are the biggest the NEO head can take.
  8. i already did. They need to have a look at them first. I want to get a rough idea of whats involved/cost b4 i get a set.
  9. still doesn't completely shut...so we using bonnets pins to secure it. Had to cut along the vents and file a part down at the back. I got it painted same colour as car and covering up vents with mesh so should look mint.

  11. yeh its so labour intense. Engineering was a big whack too. Its been in the worshop for 11months. The engine finally got cranked over last night. Fingers crossed for drive home next week!!!!!!!
  12. i used gtr tomei poncams for my neo head which needed shimming. Changed to heavy duty springs aswell. Depends how high your rev and what level of boost you use.
  13. actually we used a rb26 backing plate. Go into the rb30 thread and should have pics with the cam cover on aswell...
  14. any ideas as to whats involved in fitting these particular fenders? Looks like big gaps need to be filled in and could i still make them blend into my exisiting bodykit?

  16. could someone explain to me the process of moulding/blending the fenders into the body? How much extra on top of paint and fitting? This kit is around $2800 delivered.

  20. i got a set of gtc 19x8.5 F +12 19x9.5 R +5 for my gtt. Got a guy coming out thur to roll and fare my guards. Can't wait and hope all goes well. tyres are 245 F and 235 F

  23. i spent $72k on mods plus market valve of $22000 = $94000 for my r34 gtt. Most agree value was $45k!!! I now need written assesment. i wonder how much i can get? Ball park anyone?
  24. i think 4wd would put alot more stress throught the box due to better traction....9sec on slicks...enough said
  25. ive been hearing all sorts of different mumbo as to how much these boxes can handle. Im aware thats its more the torque that destroys them then power. What power are people running/had running before their's let go? 2wd/4wd/application?
