  1. What work did you get done to ur 34 and how much? Im looking for a place for a respray
  2. But remember it can be done at a far cheaper price. All depends on how far you wana go and what parts you use. There was ALOT more parts needed not includede on my list which is over $20k. I will wait until finall invoice for more accurate sum but labour is roughly $13k.
  3. i had the chance of going for a "cheaper" build. That was one of the options presented to me at the start. But at the end of the day i chose an engine of the highest standards. Im the type that does something one and once only. So i make sure that its done right the first time. Go for broke or go home
  4. im considering taking up a second job and whoring my ass after hours.......
  5. no way near close guys. All parts are brand new and drive in drive out. Its the engineering and labour thats a killer. No bullshit just on the engine mods plus clutch is $63k.
  6. very good observation mate. Even i didnt pick that up. I havent been back since that pic was taken but shall check and see. Yes top racing built it by steven lee. They sub contract him for rebuilds so i havnt seen or spoken to him for months. But when i get the chance will get all the specs of the engine.
  7. i got the rims just need some tyres...I need to figure out which size is best so i can order them and get the wheels fitted ASAP!!!
  8. its the front of the cam cover thats hitting the bonnet. My cfb has vents in the middle which happens to hit it so we going to cut across it and use mesh to cover the gap. Abit hard to explain but will post pics to better understand. Steve from top racing will be tuning it.
  9. wiring up the ecu and doing final touches.
  10. choping my cfb. tried spaces but it rasied the back too much.
  11. what you think about 225 F and 245 R?
  12. nope bonnet wont shut......chop and crop time.
  13. btw i couldn't decide what ecu to get so went the the very best....no looking back
  14. god damit my carbon bonnet wont shut aswell!!!! The cam cover is hitting the second vent. We tried spacers but its just rasing the back of the bonnet and looks really crap aswell. Only option is to cut across half of that vent and then make up another bigger piece of mesh to cover the gap. Shoudnt look 2 bad. Will post pics once done
  15. Been looking ages for one but can't seem to find them? Does anyone know where???
  16. RB25/30 NEO
  17. im interested in the m600 which has 6 injector drives. Power fc dont cut it as im running no afm and have extensive mods. I further need the connection the the pc and wiring loom. So installing and tunning would be no different to any other piggy back ecu and have similiar cost i assume?
  18. yeh we checked and they are for standard disk size. And i researched and found a guy who has alot of expereince and highly recommended. I will post pics once done. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH ME
  19. im looking at the motec m600 which can be brought for around $3200 and the additional features (launch control, anti-lag etc) for a extra $550. I want to piggy back it to my standard ecu. Are there any other extras needed? Also comparing to the haltech piggy backed, is the installing and up and running costs much different?
  20. dont worry mate i aint listening because i already paid for the rims. I was fully made aware that rolling and faring will be needed..dam gota love the dish. They are in stock too so dont need waiting period from jap either. Anyone else recommend tyre sizes?
  21. lol we were discussing that yesterday at the workshop. Ive got a z-tune carbon one from musecret. The vents in the middle should be adequate...i hope....
  22. theres at least another 6wk waiting peroid for the haltech plug and plug to be released. Dont know weather i should just piggy back the standard ecu or go for another ecu all together. The tuner recommened the ems?
  23. i have spoken to a few guys that flare/roll guards. 5-10mm flaring is not a issue. I have seen cars with similar offset and even wider rims then mine aswell. What tyre size do you guys recommend as i need to order them soon?
  24. oh shit.......r u serious??????
  25. Finally found a "more" suitable set. 19 x 8.5 +5 dish 80mm front and 19 x 9.5 +12 dish 86mm rear. I also put a deposit down. Supplier assured that i need rolled guards 5-10mm but nothing too major. Im abit uneasy the more i look at the offsets though. Any insight as to what im in for? Any help muc appreciated
