Really? Frink and I got in there at about 9:45, we drove my car in there and parked right in the middle next to the Lonsdale St. car wash and sat there until 10:30 and saw a fair few cars, but not heaps. Cops stopped a few people but we didn't see any big shutdown at 10pm, nor mass defects.

So... who was it with the gunmetal R32 GT-R on Drakeford this afternoon with the heavy foot and the screamer?

Surely replacement pads for the GT-t wouldn't cost as much as the replacement pads for the F6's Brembo brakes? I reckon the F6 would be thirstier, bigger engine and bigger car. Both will be expensive if you drive like an idiot. R34 is more expensive to insure, tyres would probably be cheaper as F6's come with 18's and 19's from factory, unless of course you fit 18's or 19's to an R34. R34 as said is older and replacement parts are more expensive. Another vote here for not getting anything nice while you're studying, unless you've got money to burn. Plenty of time to get something nice after.

Another vote for immobilizer here. Another thing, is there a chance that maybe the plug on your ignitor box at the back of your coil packs is loose? Does the car die completely or is anything still running (i.e. fuel pump)?

Adjustable suspension has been a no for at least 3 years, when I first went to have my car engineered. One of the first questions I was asked was "Do you have coilovers or any adjustable suspension?" As soon as I said "yes but no" (My rear Bilsteins have a height adjustment, but were fitted to the R31 Silhouette GTS from factory), everything was alright. I think the issue that will get you really stuck is if (really big if) the suspension can be adjusted below the minimum legal ride height. Sometimes you'll get an inspector that will just give you a flat out no, one or two will actually be willing to let you explain what the go is first, then probably tell you no
