  1. Kinda sounds like what I'm sort of going through, though I'm not quite at the stage of talking about it that way
  2. He's got a basically stock RB26 in an R32 GT-R that's just been rebuilt, he had the S14 before the R32
  3. Then I guess it isn't the coils
  4. Probably the classic dying coil packs. They all do it.... in fact mine is doing it at the moment too. You'll most likely need to go get yourself a replacement set of coils - unless it turns out to be something else that's causing the problem
  5. Just watch out for any special attention from your friendly local constabulary
  6. Bah Leigh, Ralph from the Simpsons Here's another easy one "What the devil are you looking at? It's tuna fish!...... and nothing else....."
  7. I'm out lack of funds and I have a bike to work on so I can start riding to work
  8. The RB30E in the VL & R31 has the CAS inside the distributor, whereas because the RB20/25/26 twin cam motors run electronic ignition instead of a distributor they have the CAS as a single unit on the front of the exhaust cam, so as such you can't use a twin cam RB motor CAS on a single cam RB motor, if that's what you're getting at
  9. Personally it made my morning when Skaife got punted out, and it made my afternoon when Ford won the race. It's nice to have a change once in a while.....
  10. You want me to come twice?
  11. Edit: Bah I'll fill it out later
  12. Any exhaust shop? City custom exhaust do very good but pricey work
  13. Looks familiar, I reckon I've probably seen you around
  14. I spotted a silver R33 with a carbon fibre bonnet heading into Weston Creek about an hour ago. I wasn't sure if it was a GT-R, it had widened rear guards, but they were in primer.....
  15. I'm in giggidy giggidy giggidy
  16. Sounds good to me. It'd be good if we could get parking out the front of Zefferelli's but in Dickson on a Friday night.... HA!
  17. Fantastic idea, I love it, and I'm in.
  18. 24 gt-t huh Leigh got any pics?
  19. I saw the yellow 34 this arvo as well
  20. Got a wave from a fellow in a white 33 on Lady Denman Drive this arvo, I gave a late wave back, dunno if you saw it, sorry if you though I snobbed ya
  21. Was behind a silver R34 GT-t with no wing & 3 digit plates on Parkes way about 8:20ish intoc Civic this morning, and a black R33 a few cars behind me
  22. Depends on the quality of the tyre you're using I reckon. The cost of an 'ordinary' 255 width tyre might be the same as a really good 235 width tyre. The 255/40ZR17 Nexen N3000's that came with my mags when I bought them are nothing short of utter shite at the retail cost of $190 each, which is cheap for any brand's "top of the line" tyre. As a (bad) comparison, the 225/50ZR16 Falken Ziex 512 tyres I had on my old 16's absolutely shat on these Nexens from a rather great height in every way. Even the 205/50R16 Vredestein Sportrac 2's I had on the front 16's had much better handling than the 225 Nexens I have now. I suppose what I'm trying to say is instead of spending money on a new set of wheels with some normal tyres, get some decent tyres for the mags you have and you might end up better off. I'm fairly sure that the wider the tyre you using on the front will give you heavier steering, which you may or may not want. I quite liked the difference in steering feel my car had when I went from a 205 to a 225.
