  1. The twin entry is the non turbo RB25DE, the single entry is the turbo RB25DET. Wether is's sedan or coupe is irrelevant, it's wether it's a turbo or non turbo motor. I'm not really sure of the question you're asking so I think that's what you're after?
  2. Let me introduce you to a rather rare car belonging to a very good friend of mine...... Any questions?
  3. 7:55pm: Silver R33 GT-R coming off the Parkway turning into Weston Creek 7:57pm: Yellow R34 25GT-t "NISSAN" on Hindmarsh Drive towards Woden 7:59pm: Silver R33 GT-R as above coming back out of Weston Creek Disclaimer - times posted above are not exact, however are accurate to within about 1 minute ALWAYS see a Skyline on Hindmarsh Drive when I'm out walking in the evening.....
  4. I intend on going to have a gander as well.
  5. You mean Ultimate Tunes?
  6. Black R32 GT-R with a nice set of 18's on Parkes Way about 9:50am, I would have waved but I was a passenger in a crazed taxi
  7. Strangely enough I virtually never see people in XR6T's fanging about or looking to pick a race UNLESS it's little Ray Ray Jr. out for a "kruz" in daddy's Falcon. Wait a few years when they become more affordable and watch them REALLY become the next VL Turbo.
  8. You should be getting more than that, you might have a stuffed oxygen sensor should be up around the 440-480km's area, that's what I get
  9. Not RB30DET, you're talking about the RB30ET. If you're running a stock turbo setup, it will cope with the abuse for a little while, but it will definetly not last as long as if you were to leave it standard of course. It all depends on how you treat it. If you putter around and only open it up here & there, drive it responsibly then it will probably last for a decent about of time. If you flog the arse out of it everywhere you go, drop burnouts and drive everywhere sideways then say goodbye to it VERY quicky. Manual ratio is 3.7 and the auto is 3.9. If you change the diff ratio then yes your speedo will miss read. I'd leave the 3.9 ratio in there anyway due to the better acceleration.
  10. That conversion looks kind of strangely familiar Have you or your mechanic run into any major problems? Have you retained your air conditioning and stuff like that? I'll be very interested to see the power results, might give be an idea of where to go next.....
  11. You've basically just described a car that's in production right now, there's a company that produces a full fibreglass body replica of the '67 Shelby GT500 Mustang, but all the running gear is from the current 2005 Mustang plus a bit of extra spice, a supercharged 4.6 litre quad cam (Saleen?) Mustang engine. You can have one for 200k $AUD. But oh man would it be fat. I reckon they're one of the sexiest cars ever. What about something along the lines of a late 60's Camaro SS with something like a Gen 3 engine conversion, or perhaps something like an XY Falcon dome up to look like a GT, but shoehorn in a Ford Boss 260/290 or an XR6 Turbo motor
  12. They're pretty much the same shape yer
  13. Had an encounter with a fellow in a black R32 GTS-t on Erindale Dr this evening about 9, looks like there's more than one RB25 powered GTS-t in Canberra
  14. oh shit, I'd better write this down.....
  15. I'm starting to hear mixed things about Jake's as well. Always hear good things about Autotech though. Been there to watch a dyno day or 2, always seemed pretty good.
  16. Oh... work flew me to Sydney on Monday until tomorrow night, I'm helping with some Building Code of Australia energy efficiency seminars that they're doing in all the capital cities. I'd like to go to the Brisbane one but I doubt I'll be going. Anyway, I've just been wandering around the city with an old school friend, we've seen.... A white R34 GT-t A white R33 GTS-25t A gunmetal grey R32 GT-R A white R33 GT-R with the plates "GDZILA" parked outside my hotel on Castlereigh street A black Pulsar GTi-R A Sydney ghost tours HEARSE (mad!) on George St A black Ferrari 360 Spyder convertible on Pitt St MMMMM BITCH A red 360 Modena that gave it a hit past me on George St... OMFG THE NOISE A red 360 Spyder (They really do like them 360's here....) A white S15 convertible (Sexy, SEXY. I didn't even know they existed, yes I did check to see if it was an S13 with a front/rear end conversion, no it was a proper S15.) A black 997 911 Carrera 4 A Bentley Continental GT on Oxford St And this really old 1940's lowrider that when the guy gave it a rev, belched flame out it's sidepipes And that's just off the top of my head
  17. Don't worry Luke, I'd rather be at home. It's nice to come here for a couple of days, but I so couldn't live here. Spotted import number 1, and yes it's a Skyline, black R34 GT-t on Castlereigh Street bodykit and what looked very similar to Nismo LM wheels
  18. Spotted: absolutely zero imports in the Sydney CBD in the first 24 hours I've been here..... (Yes I'm bored. I'm sitting in the Sydney Masonic Centre with absolutely nothing to do and taking advantage of some free wireless broadband) I did however se a couple of current model M3's and a Ferrari 360 last nite
  19. Probably because I wasn't driving my Skyline
  20. Rear halfcut -> engine conversion any takers?
  21. Drove behind Dave's old GT-R on the Parkway this morning about 10 to 8
  22. About a year ago I picked up my redline gearbox oil from Auto 1 in Phillip
  23. Pretty good turnout tonight actually
  24. Red R32, either a GT-R or a GTS-t with a GT-R front end and rear spoiler, Woden-bound on Adelaide Avenue about 3pm
  25. ahah, sorry I wasn't glaring I actually wasn't sure if it was a forum member or not so I didn't want to make a dick of myself by waving at someone that I didn't know I'll know better for next time!
