  1. Are you talking about the o-ring?
  2. Nah I was drying my car in the carpark opposite Carlovers when you drove out of the Dominos carpark. You would have seen a red & silver R31 and a white Liberty with 2 blokes scratching their heads thinking your car looked familiar
  3. Think I spotted Melly driving past Carlovers in Cooleman Court. Frink was there with me too if you saw us
  4. w00t my MSCE books turned up today! That is all.
  5. Stuck needle or the boost hose that feeds the gauge might have been crimped
  6. As far as I know the JJR ones are a copy of Splitfires and are basically just as good. I've heard of Superspark but don't really know anything about them
  7. Fat Midnight Purple R33 GT-R on the Parkway about half an hour ago
  8. Love computer games but don't have much time to play them anymore. Recent stuff I've been playing is F.E.A.R., Ghost Recon 1 & 2, NFS: Carbon & ProStreet, Company of Heroes, World in Conflict, etc... I also like taking photos Usually find myself screwing around with computers, helping friends with theirs & stuff Mucking around with cars obviously And I like going to the gym, but spent a bit too much time away recently.
  9. Just get the GT-R.
  10. I will be in Civic tonight but I can't make it to our Friday night spot so I'll just post here - like previous years I'll just be at the Futsal stadium about 8:15am on Sunday morning to get my entry sticker, and anyone that wants to join me on the pre-show cruise to Marques in the Park can meet me there.
  11. For those of us that are going, would it maybe be a good idea to have a quick meetup (i.e. the normal Friday night thing) to just have a quick chat and make sure everyone's on the same page? Stuff like when/where to meet, if anyone wants to bring anything, etc...
  12. haha thanks guys!
  13. NO WAY! lol Skylines came with a stock exhaust? ehh I'm bored.
  14. I don't even come close to the "needed" power output, but I just want to know what my car can do. Doesn't have to be serious anyway does it? So I'm tentatively interested.
  15. I've been told that the best way to ensure you get your car in the same condition as it was loaded onto the Toll truck is to organise to have someone you trust (or the importer?) padlock or combination lock the vehicle inside it's Toll container when it gets shipped, and have the keys express posted to you before the car arrives, that way you get to unlock it yourself when it arrives. I can think of plenty of things wrong with this idea but I thought I'd post it up all the same. If you go with that idea then perhaps use a combination lock, that way there's no keys to get lost in the mail. I'm under the impression that all imports had to go to Dickson for a roadworthy? (Unless you're getting it registered in NSW?) If it's modified then chances are you'll need an engineer's certificate before you take it over rego. Ray Spence at Canberra Motor Works in Mitchell is my suggestion for that. And yeah compliance plates don't mean you're allowed to drive it if it's not registered. You'll still need roadworthy & rego or a permit. If it's being shipped to Queanbeyan then I'm pretty sure that *technically* you'll need 2 permits. 1 for driving it in NSW and 1 for driving it in ACT.
  16. Not a great idea posting such exact details like that...
  17. Random suggestion... Cooma (or around there)? There's as much to do down that way as there was in Braidwood so it can't hurt to suggest it
  18. Does your motor look like this: Or this: Top one is turbo, bottom one is not.
  19. Me too! Frank Bullet32 Rossco_01 Ecstacy R3sp3ct SteadyEddie Tarmac Gus- Michele Zenith13 INVRTD DriftGTS Rev_head88 datto260Z CeJay ? OzLeroy Bluprint
  20. So you don't want to attend the 8am pre-show meet at John Knight park? Because, err, that's where you get your entrant sticker
  21. I had a 440cca battery and it took maybe 2 seconds to start the motor, once that battery started to die (Scott - remember us roll starting my car in Kingston on Anzac day ) I chucked in a Supercharger brand 660cca battery. The fellow at battery world said it's the same cold cranking amps as you get in a Landcruiser. One tap of the key and she fires first time every time, it's a good feeling lol
  22. You might want to look into that. I've heard that R34s with an RB20 engine aren't able to be complied and registered in Australia. I'm not sure exactly why though, so it could be bollocks. Though that explains why you never ever see them here.
