  1. When we were doing my Neo conversion we noticed that the wiring looms between the R33 and R34 motors are really quite different. I'd be biting the bullet and using the loom as well. If you're going to go as far as buying a new motor with the purpose of doing an engine conversion then to give yourself as little hassle as possible you really should be using the loom for that motor as well.
  2. Did you flog it?
  3. You mean the one that's shaped like a sail and you can play tennis on that space age looking thingo on the top of it?
  4. I bought my rego number, which is a standard ACT number sequence, plastic plates with slimline front plate = $437.
  5. Mine's at Integra..... :S I hope it's not too bad out there
  6. Rather stock looking black R33 GT-R southbound on the parkway about 45 minutes ago, and a silver series 2 R33 on Hindmarsh Drive heading into Weston Creek at 6:30ish
  7. The Australian built R31 struts are different to Japanese built ones. The inserts are different between both. Most import sedans and coupes have the same struts and inserts, though I have heard that some of the R31 imports (RB20E/RB20ET models) have a strut more like the Australian models that have a non floating hub, which severly limits your brake upgrade options. So I guess go with a set from anything RB20DE/RB20DET powered and you'll be right
  8. I don't think it is without rebuilding and high flowing the stock turbo
  9. R31 + RB25DET = winnar But hey I'm biased..... Mistubishi Colt with a 4G63T? (I dunno if they fit) Nissan U12 Pintara with an SR20DET?
  10. So it's an LPG type smell? Or when you say gas you mean petrol?
  11. I'm out sorry
  12. My imagination tells me they'll rate it at 206kw
  13. I'm thinking VQ35DETT myself too, with an new and improved version of ATESSA ET-S Pro
  14. Just because something is new and improved (hopefully) doesn't mean everyone's gonna love it. Exhibit A - AU Falcon. I'm not saying that this is going to be another AU (I bloody well hope not), my point is that not everyone likes a new model. Most people that don't like the final version initially probably will warm up to it at some stage, most likely after either seeing how it goes or how it sounds It was kind of inevitable that the motor would change, not necessarily that it's not an RB series motor anymore, but more so that they've moved away from the straight 6 to the V6. But then again, it's not a Skyline by name anymore is it..... My personal view for now is that the front needs a bit of a change
  15. I'll be rooted if I didn't just see a silver V35 Skyline 350GT southbound on the parkway at about 7:50
  16. Can't say I'm a fan of it to be honest
  17. I didn't like the original prototype....... and I don't like this one either.
  18. Shaun means to say Chris at Inline
  19. I think they're real nice I'd seriously consider a BF XR6T in the future if I find myself looking for a new car Though I'd see if I can get one with BA2 wheels, I'm not much of a fan of the BF XR6 wheels.
  20. What he said
  21. All the RB25DET's have VVT except for the R32 versions. I like the VVT, it gives you a nice little extra kick above 4700rpm or so when it kicks in. By the way, full stops and sentence structures are a good thing.
  22. Spotto a pretty nice looking turquoise/aqua colour R33 4 door on Namajira Drive about an hour ago. Sounded the biz too.
  23. He burned you aff at Kambah Village, So does that mean you managed to make your 120km/h fly by when you were passing Glenlock Interchange?
  24. Heapsa fun apparently, meant to handle like their on rails. A friend of mine has an FTO GPX tiptronic, I haven't really tried to scam a drive of it yet, I just might try now
  25. I used to have work done at Ultimate Tunes all the time, they never did me wrong. I do find that funny though, because they seem to have more rotors there than anything else
