yeh...well not that our family history has anything to do with this discussion, but my uncle (who designed the efigy) is a chief designer at holden. he had a hand in the VT and monaro...and was chief designer for the exterior of the VE. i am a graphic designer, my brother is a draftsman, my other uncle is also a graphic designer. my aunty is an aritst & art teacher. i also have an uncle who is an architect. so u can say, design runs in the family. i find it suprising that u, an FJ ethusiast, would not see what the design was trying to do. Fortuantly, accomplished designers and motoring journailists all around the world CAN see what the design was trying to accomplish and gave it massive praise. but, to each his own i guess.

they went with the BA design cause it was a safe design. they wernt gonna make the same mistake twice. the BA is not sumthin completly different. it kept within the design trends, unlike the AU that was like a big soggy looking egg. remember, holden and ford have to appeal to a massive target market. gota keep ther design appealing to a broad audience.

alot of graphic design looks the same. alot of architecture looks the same. designers go with the current trends, so stop with this 'ewww, its a toyota/holden/ford/audi...' crap. all design has influences...so no, mad082 designers arnt copying eachother, and are not running out of ideas, its just ppl in design follow similar styles

i like the 32 GTR cause its got the race history behind it. its the 'real' original GTR. its faster than the other gtr's and looks better than a 33gtr imo.

im very intrested in gettin a pair for my 32. do the GTR ones fit on the 32 gts-t? aslo..do u have the complelty clear ones, or are they the semi clear? thers 3 types: 1. Full Amber 2. 'Clear' with small amount of amber 3. Completly clear

remmber, u need cash left over for rego and insurance. if u goin full comp and u on ur P's ur look at no less than $1500. rego, add another $560. plus a bita spare cash for a service once u get the car...or anything u might need to do. if u've got 11k total, id be saving a couple more grand if i was u, and pik up a nice 32gts-t. as far as parts go, thers plenty of wreckers u can pik bits and pieces up from, just be careful what parts u have to go searching for, cause some parts are harder to find than u think. good luck.

this is such a bullshit law....100mm ride height FULLY LOADED. drive a brand spankin new Clubsport off tyhe showroom floor, chuck 5 average sized adults in it , put some small luaggage in the boot..........100mm? i dont think so! so basically if u buy a brand new car, unmodified, fully loaded u can get d*cked by the cops...so what u do then? rise the stock ride height?

hey guys, anyone got pics of their 32 interior with marone leather or that fake leather stuff from ultimate auto trim. im trying to decide whether to put in that marone colour for seats and door inserts, or just black. cheers.
