  1. Hi the price has been reduced to $10,000
  2. Hi, I am selling my 40th anniversary limited edition 1998 Nissan Skyline R33. The car is lighly modified but fairly stock still. It comes with extras including: - Factory body kit - Pioneer touch screen sat nav / radio (in dash) - Full sports exhaust, air pod filter, large intercooler, boost gauge, alarm etc. - After market height adjustable suspension (from Japan) The car has done just over 100,000 kms and has recently had the full 100,000km service done to it. I also service it regularly every 5,000km. It has very low kilometers for the year it was built and is in great mechanical condition. I was the first Australian owner of the vehicle which was purchased from a car import yard. I am selling the car because I catch the bus and train to work everyday and we have purchased a 4wd as a family car to share with my wife (she only drives auto). The car is a real pleasure to drive and will definitely put a smile on your face. II have probably only travelled between 10,000km to 15,000km since I purchased it 3.5 years ago, mostly just driving to the nearby train station or on weekends. Everything is working fine on the car. However there are some scratches on the front bumper and a bit of faded paint on the roof which can be fixed with cosmetic touch up. Everything else mechanically is perfect, never had any issues with it. Car is currently located in Baldivis. Feel free to contact me if you would like to ask any questions. Price is $11,500 ono

  4. I find it amazing how a guy who has purchased a brand new Ford XR6T and has modified it, is proud of the fact that it can beat a stock 10-15 year old Japanese car. Despite what he says, the fact that he feels the need to come on here and boast to us about his car shows that he feels threatened by the almighty GTR. Wait until the new GODZILLA comes out, then we will have a fair comparison between cars
  5. My mate is also looking for second hand tyres, can anyone recommend any other good places to buy please
  6. Actually there was a slow Lancer in front of me but nice try
  7. Hey guys I have an R33 series 2 I was wondering where the cruise control switch is cheers
  8. It will never get too hot for me to get out of the proverbial frying pan I guess the pettiness of police officers can be annoying when there is so much more real crime to fight out there.
  9. If someone is pulled over by police it doesnt necessarily mean they were asking for it. In my case I think they suspected me of being a dealer since I was driving through Queens Park (slightly dodgy WA suburb), cops always patrol that suburb. I was pulled over while driving 40km/h and specifically tested for tint darkness, that was the only reason why I was pulled over. In conclusion it is true that by driving more responsibly one does lower their chances of being pulled over, however you should be prepared to be stickered or at least pulled over no matter how well you drive, because sometimes Police will stereotype a young person driving a skyline as being up to no good, and will try to find a way to hassle you.
  10. True, a cop can defect you simply if they believe there may be something wrong with your car. They dont have to specifically identify the problem. They can just say something like "the engine doesnt sound right" etc and on goes the sticker. But I doubt that even the police would be that annoying
  11. I have recently been yellow stickered. I was travelling down a local road at 40km/h and a cop chucked a u-turn, pulled me over and specifically tested my tinting. Unfortunately sometimes no matter how responsibly you are driving, cops can decide to pick on you. Your best bet is to check out the ADR's, and to look up your state dpi website for more information on which car modifications do not need permits. I think that any other modifications require permits which you have to pay a fee to obtain from a licensing centre. If the you purchase a car with, for example, an after market exhaust, then the only way to be sure of not getting stickered for it is to have a permit for the exhaust. Otherwise it is up to the police officer to decide whether the car needs to be inspected or not.
  12. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, athough I remember when i went in to pay for the inspection (you have to pre-pay), the guy at the counter asked if this was my first inspection. I asked him if people usually have to bring their car in for more than one inspection, he just laughed and dodged the question. Then during the inspection I asked the inspector what he should suggest I should do since I like the gauges on my pillar and he even said 'just take it off for the inspection, you can do what you like after", so all that shit about being concerned for our safety is a load of BS, its just a revenue generating scam. The guy was encouraging me to remount the gauges in the hope that I will get stickered again.
  13. Yeah tint a car is being pretty cool about it, they are covering the costs of re-tinting. I am probably just gonna take the gauges off for the inspection, but I havent decided if i want to remount them after
