hey guys im thinking about getting rid of the gts and getting a gtst. i was looking at parts that i wonna get for it i found some boost controllers have a setting called boost scramble. what is everyones opinion of this?

i was thinking we should meet somewhere like milton maccas (only because i know where that is). when i get back from uni ill try to find this "haunted" jail somewhere. Yes somewhere at the toowong cemetary if you put your car in neutral and take the handbrake off then you will roll up the hill. Im assuming this is due to iron deposits closeby. can anyone else verify this

hey guys so i heard my friend from nissan silvia saying that they used to go on ghost runs. apparently they go to all the "haunted" places around the brisbane region. has anyone been on one? or would anyone be interested in going on one on the 21st (next saturday)

No offence but it seems that you dont know a great deal about auto electrics. in that case cut your loses and take it to an auto electrician. the amount of times i wish i would have taken my 33 to a pro rather than doing it myself is ridiculous. and taking it to a pro first up woulda saved me $500 but thats just me

EDIT: OH MY GOD I JUST GOT COILPACKS CONFUSED WITH IGNITION LEADS. *IDIOT* so what should i be looking out for behind the plenum exaclty? what does the aac look like? thanks for all your help

ah ok. well i have changed the oil twice and i normally have 200mL left over from a 5L bottle. so its more than last time. i dont know what i should do. what is the AAC? when you refer to the afm do you mean i should clean it? hey guys so today i did an oil change on my non turbo 33. it took just under 5L of oil and i did not change the filter. also it seems to run kinda run. when i rev it up and then take my foot off the accelerator it will sound like its hunting but the taco doesnt show it. any ideas what it could be?? and i used Pro Sync 10W30. thanks

yeah thats good advice to find a new mechanic. when i told them i went through my clutch and gearbox they said it wasnt there fault because they replaced BOTH before they sold me the car. Absolute bullshit. i guess i always take my car there cause they are like 200m down the road. but in future ill go somewhere else. thanks fellas

So the other week i bought a brand new aftermarket steering wheel. i went to connect the horn. But unfortunately i pushed the brass button (located at the bottom end of the steering wheel) into the steering column. i took it to my mechanic and i asked the TO CONNECT MY AFTERMARKET HORN. anyway i go to drive away and the horn stops working again. so i leave my car there. come back 2 hours later and pick it up. on my way home the horn stops working again. so i take it back to the mechanic and tell them to fix it again. they said to me, "Look mate you are wanting to put an aftermarket part on your car. its your fault it stopped working. you fix the problem. we have had enough. we will tell you how to fix the problem but wont do it for you. Now i think i deserve my money back. i paid $55.00 for a service which they didnt perform. however, they did open the steering column and put the brass button back in place. P.s. Once i got home i took off my steering wheel to see why the horn stopped working. it turns out that they sticky taped the wire to the button. P.S. Do you guys think i deserve my money back because my horn stopped working and they REFUSED to fix it. OR do u think that i dont deserve my money back because they fixed up that brass button. it seems to me like they only performed half the task.

hey as the name describes im curious who would win a drag outta a vs commonwhore and an R33 GTS. The R33 has a K&N pod filter, cold air intake, 4 inch exhaust wiht 5 inch tip (yeah i know the exhaust is overkill but it came with my car). I am planning to race my mate when i get my clutch fixed and was wondering who will win. I know its hard to say because of the different skill of the drivers. his car is auto and mine is manual thanks. MODS: we are planning to race at willowbank and NOT on the street.

Hey much clutch is about to die in my 33 GTS. ive seen tons of topics on clutches, but they are mainly for GTS-Ts and GTRs. What would you guys recommend i should get. Ive been told by my mechanic (Tuff Toys, Bulimba, Brisbane) that i should go with a Greddy clutch as they can get them around the $300 mark (I dont even know if Greddy make clutches :S). Obviously i dont want to spend any more than i need to. However i dont want to buy a shit clutch that will die after 6 months. I very rarely do burnouts or anything so it doesnt need to be some fancy arse racing clutch. So any ideas? Thanks

so the other night my mate and i were goign to his house. We are sitting at the lights (over the northside of bris). My mate in his VT did a burnout, straight afterwards i turned off to take a shortcut to where we were going. this car follows me into the backstreets. so i guess that its a cop and drive on my best behaviour. 2 minutes later he pulls me up. and says "Why did you do a burnout back there" to which instantanously me and my other mate replied "it wasnt me/us it was the white VT". the cop stands there for a couple of seconds dumbfounded and then replies "Oh we heard the screech and saw your car, well drive safe." what b|_|LLsh@t. how ridiculous is that. atleast i didnt get fined THAT time bloody cops
