Ive been looking everywhere for Lenso "Wide Track" mags in Brissy. But i cant find anyone that will do them
Does anyone out there know where i can get them in brissy or the coast?
Im looking at taking my car out to the track. right now i am performing the neccessary upgrades to ensure i can race.
I saw that i need to have a secondary bonnet restraint. What do you guys use?
I have a standard bonnet and i think i will look like a wanker if i put bonnet pins on it. Anyone got other suggestions?
Cheers

A big thanks to all who have helped me with this.
I put the bush in boiling water and removed it from the original shifter. I then installed it on the short shifter.
Im off tomorrow to bunnings to get some longer screws for the shifter.
Thanks again guys!
ah right.
the shifter is soaking in boiling water right now. unfortunately i dont have a vice.
if all else fails will try tomorrow to contact a local gearbox mechanic
when i say it is shit, what i meant was it is cracked and will not stay on the knob on the end of the shifter.
It keeps comming off and getting stuck in the top part of the gearbox.
Hi guys
I got a short shifter for christmas but the bush it came with (small plastic piece on gearbox-end) is just shit.
I want to install the short shifter but i need a new bush for it. Nissan is closed until who knows when so i need to remove the bush off the original shifter.
Is there an easy way to do this? I tried to twist it off but it wont come off.
any help would be much appreciated
Cheers
do you know where i could have it done properly?
Is there plastic on the market that looks like carbon fibre or do i need to actually have the dash made from carbon fibre ?
Hi guys
I saw a massive carbon fibre sticker yesterday at autobarn and was wondering if i should attempting to wrap my S2 R33 GTST dash in it.
Would i need to sand the dash back cause the series 2 dash isnt completely smooth?
Has anyone got any experience with this?
in my opinion it doesnt make a hole lot of difference to your handling. Having said that i would go for the brand name ones (the cusco i have is adjustable so you can change the rigidity of it.) because I know people who have hit a gutter drifting and the only thing that stopped their car from being destroyed was their strut brace as it resisted the impact.
In short:
if your want your strut brace to improve your handling AND resist an impact i would buy a brand name one.
If you want your strut brace to only give your better handling you should go the cheaper one.
