  1. I don't know why is when you guys see a high power figure out of an RB25 your feathers seem to get a bit ruffled. WE all know RB25's can NOT sustain this power in the long run. These engine are play toys to us and are NOT daily drivers for most of us. IF you go into that RB failure thread it's quite easy to see that most failures are to due to: Poor Tuning and even NO tuning. Or prehaps all of you are right and this massive turbo was all show I also have a video of it and the owner claimed he ran a 11.9@121 with a small turbo and less power. I but it's all a lie anyway.
  2. Have you done a swap and have experience with this? What are you supposed to swap the TB with?? What if his front clip doesn't even include the AT computer?
  3. Here in the US we had one making ~436rwkw before the owner decided to use 87octane fuel . I'd like to know more about the ring lands. The neo doesn't have the same pistons as the r33. We know the problem with the r33 was it has comparatively small ringlands. I wish there was a pic comparing the two.
  4. Do Not get the the tiptronic! You may need all 4 wheel sensors inorder for the tranny ecu to work correctly. Hold off and try to find one with a manual tranny.
  5. This site is more for general RB questions. If you need help for swap questions go here http://forums.nicoclub.com/zeroforum?id=135 . But please search first or else they might ban you.
  6. Also that diagram you posted is for the 200sx. Are you sure the 200sx and 240sx have the same pinouts?
  7. imo it's pretty useless. Look at pages 790 and 791 in the R32 FSM. There you have wire colors and harnesses. That combined with the s13 fsm should be all you need. For the lower harness you should be using the s13 harness adapted to the knock sensors, alternator, etc..
  8. Has anyone experience a Ring land failure on a NEO with a proper tune? Are there any high powered Neo's in AUS? Any pics of the NEO piston? thanks
  9. I know the RB26 flows better but does anyone have any solid numbers on them both?
  10. We know the PFC knock number is just a number. But we know what's considered harmful. However I have an AEM EMS which reads knock voltage, they do not give a number which can be cosidered harmful. Does anyone know what the voltage to knock number is? Any help is appreciated
  11. a labia sensor I recommend getting a Zeitronix set up, it's cheaper than the LM-1 but has rpm logging built in. That combined with the datalogit maptrace function makes AFR tuning very easy
  12. Pretty much renders the search function useless..so many three letter acronyms... neo,tps,vtc,cas.....
  13. It rev's fine without boost and high rpm. I can't see why the coil would work then and not under boost. Am i wrong here? As for replacement i'm looking to buy GM LS2 coils, they are ignitor on coil like S2 rb25's and a much cheaper.
  14. They're not supposed to be torqued down, just screw hand tight. I used 80ft/lbs to torque them.
  15. Hello, After finally correcting the cold miss problem (wich turned out to be the head studs) I compression tested the engine. Compression tested 140psi across. I added a cp of oil to each and they went up to 165psi. I used dino oil since break in and avoied constant rpm. Is there any chance of the rings seating properly?
  16. PFC only forsale, have other local interest in the datalogit.
  17. USA, should be ~$50AUD EMS shipping for each package
  18. $725AUD + shipping for PFC alone $115AUD + shipping for the Q45 AFM
  19. But it includes the FC datalogit +PFC+ Q45 AFM. the Datalogit alone costs $530 AUD .
