  1. Pretty well. Hell, give it to me. I rather enjoy installing parts.
  2. I like the swap meet idea. That would be pretty sweet.
  3. So I spent way too f**king long looking for some gauge mounts. Specifically, these mounts; Tried Car Toys, Autobarn Mile End, JIS, and a couple other joint, all with no results. Annoyed, and driving down North East road, I thought 'f**k it, there's another Autobarn here, I'll see what they got', It was just as disappointing as all the other stops. But the dude had a quick look around for me and came up with something that would do the job nicely. While it ain't the 90's anymore (unfortunately), this is still pretty orrite; Best 50 bucks I've ever spent. Last one they had, and likely ever will have in stock. Score!
  4. Dave took a dozen photos and then gave up for the day.
  5. So are you saying you didn't like trying to kill badass' with giant Nerf guns? Me neither. Shit got old quick.
  6. Playing as Lilith was rad. Didn't really like her in low levels, but once you got her up to speed with a decent SMG, she made most missions a snack. Brick and Roland I didn't feel were nearly as flexible. And Mordacai... Couldn't even finish 1 play through with him. Painful. Never did the multiplayer thing with the first. I'll give it a crack with this one though.
  7. The original Borderlands is the only 'modern' game that I can play through 16+ times (seriously) and not get sick of. Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Saints Row, Grand Theft Auto etc, have all come pretty close, but nothing has been able to match it yet. Open world, a thousand different enemies to kill, more guns than you can think of, and it's pretty damn hilarious. Dodgy 14 minutes of gameplay video; And the official release trailer; Super excited for this. International release date is 21 September... Was originally in July at some point, which is kinda disappointing, but it gives me a few months to finish ME3 a couple times and get that out of my system.
  8. You definitely should. If you're good, you'll get through both in time for the 3rd.
  9. Euro and German are different eh... Interesting.
  10. Slowly getting there. Dash is going back together this week. Unfortunately however... It won't be at AJD. Too much left to do, and not enough time or money to do it. So it's back in the garage for a couple weeks.
  11. Pretty well. More shit. Car came home tonight. Intake; Starts at 3" and necks down to meet the 2.5" (?) intake. Trying to source a Pipercross filter with a Z32 mount. Then it's back to Andrew for any necessary mods, and to make up a decent bracket and close it off. Lobster back hot pipe. Complicated little thing. 12 pieces. Both will likely get coated wrinkle black to match the rest of the pipework. And finally, the dump pipe. I'll have to find a bung for the o2 port. Only there for tuning. I won't be running a sensor. The dump, pipe, and cat are all 1 piece. So I only have 2 flanges in the entire system. Lovely. Oh yeah, if anyone in here knows their wiring and SR's, specifically ignition, shoot me a PM.
  12. Not likely I'll be making it anymore...
  13. Back in the garage doing what she does best. Absorbing space, time, and money. Big thanks to Matty T for driving all the way out to tow her home. Gotta plug up this and the EGR at some point, I've only got the bung there for tuning. Won't be running an O2 sensor. Dump, front and cat are all one piece. So in the entire exhaust system, I only have 2 joints, v-band at the turbo, and your run of the mill 2 bolt flange where the cat joins the rest of the exhaust. More pics when I next find myself under the car... ... Which is probably tomorrow. Intake; Gotta find a filter, trying to find a Pipercross suitable for a Z32 AFM, once I get that sorted, it'll be back to Andrew to weld on suitable mounts, and if necessary, mod the pipe to suit. And the rather complicated lobster back hot pipe. A dozen different sections welded together; Pretty damn cool.
  14. This thread is basically my red headed step child. Ignored until it's near death, and then laughed at. So in the spirit of things, here's an update. Binned the idea of converting to top feed, hella couldn't be bothered at the time, and for some reason I was concerned about legality. Something I no longer really care about. Ended up going with a set of Sard 850cc side feeds, single point. Though at some point in the future, it's likely they'll get swapped out for ID's. Cradle was dropped.. And then stripped, painted, and bushes replaced while the diff copped an 0.8mm shim. These arrived and were recently installed; This was sent off to be chemically stripped and recoated. A giant ass box from America arrived; In it was this; Had some machine work done; Picked up a pair of these; Attempted to fit the very large (for a T2) BW to the standard manifold with questionable results; So I tried it with an Apex'i manifold, with much the same results; I eventually got jack of it, and left it sitting there for many months while I burned my money on strippers and cocaine... Which I for some reason eventually grew tired of, so I returned to spinning spanners. Had all the Ragamuffins resprayed in a particularly lovely metallic silver for $150. Made all this jank work; Put the rear end back in; Got a fellow SAU'er around, plied him with alcohol and got him to turn this; Into this; Eventually I called some mates over and we put it here, and laughed hysterically; Rolled onto this; Took it all to the very capable Andrew at AM Performance, left it with for a little while, and the end result is this; That was a couple days ago, since then, dump, front and cat has been made up and fitted, along with a very complex looking hot pipe, and a 3" intake. Unfortunately, the new positioning of the turbo meant that my lovely ARC box couldn't be used and therefore, was sold. Shit happens. Should have it back in my garage and taking up space this evening. Still have a clutch to install, some minor wiring to be done, guards to be flared, LS2 coils to be installed, and a multitude of other things, but now at least the big stuff is taken care of.
  15. Same story here. Had a tankful of E10 100 in my S14 when I pulled it off the road 12+ months ago. Drained it all out to replace it with e85 and ran it in my daily with no trouble.
  16. So do I mate. Got the bill from Andrew today for the manifold and all the rest. So far this exercise has set me back around $4k... Not bad for something that started out as $100 modify and replace project.
  17. I'm not stopping until I run an 8. (on the 1/8th mile)
  18. Borg Warner has been an OEM supplier of turbos and drive line gear since before you knew how pee standing up. Nissan, Holden, Porsche, Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, etc etc etc ad nauseam all use BW brand equipment as standard. There's been bad feedback on a very new line of turbochargers that takes the best elements and technologies available for turbochargers today and combines them, and thanks to the wonders of the internet, everyone knows every little detail about every 'reported' failure. Could happen to any company that produces parts specifically aimed at performance. But would they provide the same sort of help after a failure occurs such as BW has been doing in regards to the EFR? Probably not.
  19. Andrew at AM Performance, 0401865373.
  20. Progress. Manifold is done, lines are routed, rest of the pipework is off to a good start. I stupidly didn't take any pictures of the merge collector, but it really is a thing of beauty. Low mount wasn't really an option, sits out about a 1-1.5 inches further out from the head than normal, and about 4 inches forward of the standard position. Worlds ugliest turbo sitting high and proud. Clearances are uh... Tight. All work was done by Andrew at AM Performance, it took him a couple tries to get to a point where he was happy with it, and I think he's done an awesome job of it. Heaps looking forward to getting it tuned.
  21. Nah. You're just saying you'll be there. That's cool.
  22. Spoken to Willall yet?
  23. Now you sound needy and whiny. It's not just a question of geography, there's also trading hours, Vili's is convenient like that. I can't think of many other places, what have you got? Seriously, save for the Bakery on O'Connell and Enjoy out in Norwood, I can't think of anything. Neither of which are particularly good options. Mostly because parking sucks at both.
  24. I'm looking forward to a couple other jumping on board. Mercedes comes to mind, and maybe even Audi, which in my mind would have to run one of their spectacular diesel engines. Just for fun.
