wayne, sau has a brilliant photography section with plenty of tips and links floating through it. but the best way to learn is to spend a lot of time f**king about with it, dont try to be macho man and use full manual settings (im yet to meet anyone that uses full manual for anything... cept me with the 35mm) just focus on either aperture or exposure settings, dont be afraid to use manual focus, and dont be afraid of experimenting.

just went and had a look, between the washer bottle and my intercooler pipe, i have no room to fit another core. so options i can see, mount on the passenger side (but that requires yet more hose) or mount in front of the radiator (behind the i/c), or in front of the i/c (means trimming the bar a tiny bit more... which i gotta do anyway. winrar?)

definitely happy with the quality of the stuff, but shit, doesnt seem like a whole lot for the dollars. and yeah, i doubt i have anywhere near that room. will know better on wednesday when i hook it up i spose.

its garbage. i was expecting a few things to be not quite right, but thats just shit. its a hypergear tr28 or some such. part of it is sitting on my desk, half of it is at krish's place, the rest of it is at am performance waiting for krish to give the ok to fix it. and on the topic of gauges, ill be speaking to you soon about a couple oil gauges.

i use those gauges too. pretty accurate. shall have to get a few more soon. negatory. no split dump. kinda hard to explain, but theres another piece that bolts to the back of the turbine housing that holds the wastegate flap and has the vband for the exhaust flow on it, problem is this section is shallow for the wastegate flap to properly open.

it went alright. had a few moments where we were missing a few odds and ends, but it went pretty smoothly until those 2 issues popped up. wouldve been about a 4 hour turnaround. with any luck he'll have it back on the road within 2 weeks.

spend the day 'installing' krish's new turbo. bit of a head f**k. only 3 out of 4 of the nuts for mani-turbo studs would screw on because one kept fowling on the housing, so thats off to be machined this week, and the wastegate design sucks. flap opens about 5mm before it fouls, so ive taken it to andrew and it looks like itll be getting the internal blanked off, and an adaptor for extrernal gate made up. anyone got any hookups for tial 44mm gates?

i hate progressive springs with a passion.

shouldve got a set that are base height adjustable. run as low as you want without having a crazy uncaptive spring. but yeah, run it a little high, bout the height of heslo's car would be ideal, low cars sucks.
