yeah, i thought my problem was the plastic inner guards to begin with, but no, removed everything, noise is still there. buying new ones after my alignment on saturday (nismo's, cheaper than nissan and cheaper than nismo "style" mounts) then spending a solid portion of my weekend replacing them. i got mine done by chris at adelaide tyrepower. cost about $40 a corner, just mention youre from ns.com.

ah, awesome. nah, every joint including the spherical bearing at the top of the strut is tight. no free play anywhere. but the engine mount on that side is pretty well f**ked.

f**k i hate "RBT's". every friday and saturday night i work, i never see an rbt to or from work. every other night of the week, i come across at least one. tonight i avoided 4 of the f**king things. how f**king pointless is that shit? yeah, slashdance is on tonight, but seriously, wouldnt those resources be better used when people are more likely to drink and drive, like on a friday or saturday night? i can even find myself a agreeing with rbt's on peripheral days like thursday and sunday, because theyre getting busier in town recently, but monday - wednesday? having a couple pc's out and about pulling randoms over makes more sense than dumb-testing rbt's everywhere. and just quietly, 3 out of 4 of these rbt's had some poor bastards in imports sitting on the side of the roads with the bonnets up while the cops just waved everyone through. breath testing my shiny daffodil ass...

dunno. depends how many cc dry's ive had and how awkward the rb is to work on. should be about a couple days (i like leaving a margin of error). now takes me about 90 minutes to do a turbo on the sr. question, rb uses locking tabs on the turbo studs, yeah? if so, f**k them off and buy some prevailing torque nuts, theyre a slight pain in the ass, but i doubt they'll f**k out as quick as the lock tabs.

im looking at hookin up a small electric water pump to my washer bottle with some little garden water sprayers between the cooler and the rad for some extra coolness when it all gets a little warm.
