  1. id take to it with a sledgie and itd look better than what it does at the moment. they really did let that thing slide. used be pimp. now its just ghetto.
  2. i hear hospital stays can be rather lengthy these days.
  3. i would, but everythings back together. fairly certain its a 28. but ill get dad to bring a scope home from work and ill post the numbers i find. yeah nah. 4 weeks is a long enough wait to get my car back on the road, you can wait.
  4. on the plus side, someone might have an opportunity to buy a 22b for cheap if its recovered.
  5. yeah, virtually everything on the 22b is model specific, unloading anything would be damn near impossible.
  6. holy mcf**k! who the hell steals a 22b?
  7. best value youll see this side of supercharging an rb25.
  8. /shock value.
  9. yeah, i just feel like a bit of an asshole taking it back, ive already had to take it back once eh...
  10. go through a skin mag. then youll be not bored.
  11. yeah, i left a message on his phone. figured he'd be at dsc. both cats are the same size (factory is a couple mm larger than the xforce one), both fit fine with factory dump and front, neither fit with the AM pipe fitted, the gap between the rear flange on the front pipe and the front flange on the apexi is 30mm too short, which makes me think the front pipe is 30mm too long.
  12. just wait til you hit a 4 week stint. its awesome. i dont think the celsior was off the road over the year that i owned it for as long as the 200 has been in the last 2 months.
  13. negatory. no welder. hence the frustration.
  14. tried that. even with the catback pulled back as far as it'll go (with ZERO play left in the hangers) the gap is still about 5mm too small fit the bastard in. add another couple mm for gaskets and yeah, shit just aint gonna fit.
  15. the cat itself doesnt fit. both the factory cat and the hi flow cat are approx. 30mm too long to fit between the front pipe and the apexi cat back.
  16. yeah, im starting to get pretty disheartened about it all really. as of today is been 4 weeks since its moved (and has cost me over $400 in loan payments and insurance for the privilege, and the parts on top of that). im about 3 seconds away from taking to it with 10 litres of petrol and a match. ive called andrew and left a message, im having trouble seeing how 3 components designed to fit an s14 dont work together. its doing my head in. i shouldve just used the gktech gear. wouldve been back on the road over a week ago if i had.
  17. another delay. cat doesnt fit. anyone have a car trailer? i cant be f**ked with this thing anymore. gonna take it down to aaa and have them sort it out.
  18. it must be a nissan thing.
  19. or i couldve just sucked at fitting it last time. ha. ill borrow a scope from dads work and have another look. are the rear housings the same size between 25/28's? edit, more quick research, 25's have .80 rears, 28's have .64's, definitely remember mine being .64, so i dont have a damn clue how or why it didnt fit before.
  20. woo! dump pipe is fitted finally. will bolt on the cat in the morning and start her up for the first time in near enough to 4 weeks.
  21. nope, still not running. still missing half its exhaust... should be going by midday-ish tomorrow. i get it, youre being nice, arent you carl?
  22. yeah, i havent figured that out either. i dont get what the big deal is in paying $100 for a shirt that looks like 5 babies threw up on it. guess im just not hip enough for that shit.
  23. ahaha, good effort, right next to a cop shop in front of half of the population of adelaide.
  24. ill just leave it til monday. got work tonight, and ive gotta get the exhaust and such refitted to the 200 tomorrow, and spend the afternoon catching up with a couple mates. so monday it is. lol.
