  1. stop trying to make youself sound cool. you stopped trying after she asked 'is it in yet' half a dozen times. you could make it fit, different flywheel, clutch, box, starter, and then youll put all the already hard to reach shit (ever changed an oil filter on an sr?) in an even more retarded position. but why would you? its an sr.
  2. spose you could always look up chartered engineers, give one of them a call in the morning and ask their opinion?
  3. save some kesh, skip marky and head to AAA exhausts, they were a good few hundred dollars less for the exact same system than marky when i was pricing a system for the 200. or do what steve has done and luke is doing and head down and see andrew and AM performance.
  4. head down to service sa or whatever they call themselves these days, and get an application to modify, fill it out, send it in and itll tell you everything you need to get done.
  5. obviously take what they say with a grain of salt, and then research research research (like you did with the supercharger. *cough*). call up some of the bigger name tuners, talk to your tuner, ask in the forced induction section, etc.
  6. what year is it? i think one of the minimums for an approved engine conversion is the same size brakes as found on the donor car.
  7. call garrett in the morning and ask? just a thought.
  8. r31's are awesome. until you start modifying them. almost nothing is off the shelf unless youre willing to pay a retarded amount of money. and the rear suspension setup is garbage. allen, aka adel_gtsx on the 31 clubs, things a beast, been in the build for years. ahaha, wouldnt fit. thats whatd id be doing. stop being soft. theres a successor to the 51r you know? thats not bad. the 200 has been hardparked in my garage and not turned over since ajd.
  9. its an LSx. firey deaths are part of the deal.
  10. i stopped trying to get my head around things years ago. shits easier that way.
  11. id put a v8 in the s14. wide body, potato potato LSx, fat meisters, and the ability to stab the clutch in any gear and turn the rear tyres into smoke. awesome. should mention that heslo disagrees with this idea rather strongly.
  12. 2 words. dyno queen. horses for courses. i just like giving cara shit about it.
  13. how many people did it take to convince you that the power output you were expecting was simply too much for the supercharger you were going for? why the hell you need 500rkw in a state that doesnt have a drag strip is still beyond me though. wait, i forget, isnt sam the one who said *insert stupid power figure here* was achievable on that tiny little supercharger too? bah, sad panda spec, another 2 days until i get the 200 back on the road.
  14. youve conformed? youre less cool than you were when you were supercharging it.
  15. haha, sure, go for gold nugz. always good having people under the pump when youre lookin for stuff.
  16. and the mailbox (as i said, solid brick) was broken in half. ill have to take a photo of the driveway, the mailbox, and where the car ended up.
  17. nearest one is salisbury. the ones im after are pretty common me thinks. got small bolt in the same thread i need, just need a larger one, and a couple nuts, id be surprised if they dont have them. oh yeah, dump pipe. tis awesome.
  18. working on the magna, just let it down off the jackstands, was about to drive it back into the garage when the phone starts ringing, i was expected a fairly important phone call so i left the magna with the drivers door open and ran to the phone. 10 minutes into the phone call i hear something that sounds like tearing metal, so i walk out the garage, see that the magna wasnt where id left it, hmm, ask the person on the phone to hold on for a sec, put it down and go to look for the magna. it had somehow managed to backwards over the wheel chock (it had collapsed), rolled down my driveway, torn the door off on my mailbox on the way down (and broken the solid brick mailbox in half), rolled over the road, and parked in the yard over the road. went inside, picked up the phone; "yeah... so im gonna have to cut this interview short." "whys that?" "funny story really, but basically my car just crashed itself." "... ooooook." never got a call back from that mob, lol. should probably list the damage, drivers door folded in half, front quarter panel torn off from the door to the wheel arch, front bar detached, where the hinges mount was pulled sideways about 2 inches.
  19. might drop by a motor traders first, see if they got what i need, save myself some driving.
  20. 200's almost there. just gotta put the airbox, inlet, and hotpipe back on. well, that and a couple new dump pipe studs >.< lost a couple nuts for the airbox, so ill be heading down to coventry's to get those soon, if all goes well, it should be fired up and driving for the first time since ajd this afternoon. awesome.
  21. will have to call up jis tomorrow and see what theyre asking. 17 x 8 + 5 and 17 x 9 + 11.
  22. guess its entirely possible. but all the numbers point to it being an oem t28. meh. shall be rectified tomorrow.
  23. not a problem mate. clearance issues are a bit boggling, cant figure out whats going on there, never pulled the studs, and im having trouble seeing how it even fit on the jig. still an awesome piece of gear though. haha, sad part is i actually spent a decent amount of coin on this one too.
  24. whos is the satin black 34 with the polished wheels? seen it parked where i park for work a couple times.
