sent them another message with photos of the dodginess, again referred to the studs not fitting (even if it is a cheap fix), both faults i could not have known about, and was not informed about at the time of order, and referred to the trade act. i daresay im going to get a rather frustrated message in response. apparently this; is fine, cant see anything at all wrong with it. f**k it. im gonna get some studs that fit it, and flog it. not worth my time anymore. suffice to say i wont be dealing with GKtech again.

sigh. this is becoming annoying. theyre saying they dont offer refunds and that the dump pipe is exactly as described on their website. they are however offering to send new studs. which sort of conflicts with them saying its exactly as it appears on their website. really was hoping not to bust out the crappy pictures and the trade act. makes me seem like an asshole.

yeah, only reason i got was because i was assured by a couple mates of mine that they were decent quality. which in their case, they may have been. just not in my case. no big deal, the annoyance has subsided, i was pissed off for about 30 minutes, but then i realised its easier to sort shit out when im not pissed off, so i had a beer and calmed down. should hopefully be sorted soon, if it isnt, well, then ill allow myself to be pissed off for a bit again. haha, fair point steve, but the guy he handballed me off to is the guy i initially contacted when i ordered the gear, so fingers crossed.

repost! just got in touch with the mob i bought the dump and front pipe off, they were just about to call apparently. ive been hand balled from the new owner to the old owner (who should be contacting me soon), told the new guy i wanted a refund for the dump and front pipe, and he didnt seem to have a problem with it. cool.

yeah, thats the angle im going with, sent them a message outlining that none of the studs provided fit, didnt mention anything about the quality of the welds, hopefully ill hear back from them soon and get my money back. its funny that a mate of mine in melbourne ordered the same kit, but got the right dump pipe, and everything fit perfectly. awesome qc.

yeah, its pretty average, and im rather disappointed. the front pipe (from the same mob) is pretty good by the looks of it, the dump pipe however, as you can see, is pretty f**kin horrid.

yeah, unfortunately mines just a filthy 200sx, so i shouldnt have a problem.

thats as far as i can get the stud by hand, forcing it i can get it another 3 or 4 threads in.
