  1. might give it a go later. gotta go out and buy a new jack first. lol, thing about $20 jacks, they last about 20 uses then stop jacking. sigh.
  2. parade pissing is awesome. a 19mm nut on my front left strut pissed on mine, last person to work on the suspension partially rounded it. cant fit a 19mm anything onto it. pu.
  3. potentially amusing at best.
  4. i has chips that combine 2 of my favourite things. cheese and chips. orsm.
  5. im acquiring caprica at the moment. gonna have to pick up bsg from you too some time luke. itchin to do a marathon. lol. bored as, thinkin i might throw my coils in, anyone know what to torque the top strut bolts (top of the tower) up to?
  6. i get explosive tested everytime i go to the airport, and im a white dude. figure that out.
  7. bah, i should listen to the radio more often, wouldve been quite the piece to listen to, hopefully some people actually listened to what you had to say.
  8. +1 on that. not the silence and killing, but the link for helmet.
  9. awesome, cheers dude.
  10. when his car was being loaded up to go to blood sweat and gears, it still had the factory fitted organic clutch, that burnt out loading it and unloading it from the trailer, so he blamed the transport company, the transport company obviously wasnt responsible (nigh on 500kw car, organic clutch, smallest slip will kill it), but did the right thing and got xtreme to hook him up, one rather expensive clutch later, he was back in the running, but was expected to pay for the clutch, last i heard it was still in small claims. and thats straight from the guy that transported his car. lookin good, gonna tackle a fair bit of it tomorrow (coils), then well just need a couple hours on a friday or saturday next week to fit the brakes (fingers crossed).
  11. i havent opened the thread yet, but judging by what heslo said, im gonna guess it might have something to do with doms clutch from blood sweat and gears maybe?
  12. unfortunately thats the case for me, work tends to take up 50 out of 52 weekends of the year for me, but ill still help out where ever i can.
  13. joisus, got a bit of a shock today. went to nissan to price a high spec lip for the 200, they wanted close to $1300 for the f**kin thing. yikes. on the bright side, compression test came up good, 140-145 across the board, leak down test didnt show anything note worthy (or anything at all rather), and i found a seat rail for my velo. awesomes. now i just gotta source a lip and some rear pods though...
  14. elizabeth auto electrics have always treated me pretty good. hooked me up with a genuine toyota alternator for a few hundred bucks when i was quoted close to $3k by toyota.
  15. well, my vote grab has just gone into my account. shall be making a trip to JIS in the morning.
  16. jesus... thats so incredibly f**ked up. hope the guys that did it find themselves in a very dark alley being confronted by entirely the wrong people and never heard from again.
  17. ahaha, i would, but im trying to be nice to the neighbours/parental unit... shall do luke, ill either get fidgety and do em tomorrow, or ill let you know when the brakes come in and we can tackle em then. yeah, even cheap sets isc/ksport/hsd/etc youre looking at $1500. but shit, i was going to head down to jis tomorrow and throw down just under $2100 for a set of JIC FLT-FAS, so this was definitely perfect timing. now ive got more money for adjustable arms. yeah, im gonna put it in the weeds for ajd, then itll be set at just above legal, but with the new rca's, castor arms, toe arms, camber arms, sway bars, etc that im planning, any height would be easy enough to make handle. sure, go for 4kg springs, but youll probably end up kicking yourself going 'i wish i bought something stiffer.' 8kg/6kg dude. thatd be brilliant on a billiard smooth road, but spine jarringly hard on anything else, gotta remember, its a skyline, not a supra, you can get away with lower rated springs. ive found 8/6 to be pretty well spot on in the nissans ive driven. my cameras being a bit of a c-u-next-time at the moment, so i flogged these off the for sale ad; got em from christian pickering, theyre his old drift s15 coils, so theyre pretty well set up, should be much nice.
  18. gonna go pick em up now. pics to follow.
  19. just bought a set of basically brand new (less than 1000km) cusco zero 2 r coilovers. swoit.
  20. knew i was forgetting one. cheers.
  21. try searching for a local car, vl.
  22. rb30s have balance issues. get a decent harmonic balancer ($$$, but dont skimp), have the rotating assembly (crank, fly) balanced by a pro shop, and enjoy.
  23. i did. but shes stubborn to a fault. pretty average driver all round, cant maintain speed, repeated failure to indicate, tailgating, and shes the typical 'ill pay attention to something else instead of the road in front of me' female driver. hate getting in a car with her. and yet, im the hoon. figure that out.
  24. yeah, of all the shitty things south australian drivers do, whoring the right hand lane and sitting 10 under is probably the worst. my sister is shocking for that, shes never out of the right hand lane, says its her 'right to use whatever part of the road' she deems fit. sigh.
  25. cheers muchly luke, coils, diff, and new turbo all in one place. win.
