  1. So yeah... It fits. Kinda. The boost control solenoid fouled on the standard manifold, and I couldn't quite clock the comp cover to where I wanted it, so I went out and bought this A'Pexi manifold (unsure) for nice and cheap. Cover for the bypass valve is a little too close for me to just smash a water line on there, so I'll have to get a little creative. Probably use a banjo of some description. Injectors for the new setup will likely come along this week, but it'll be a little while before much happens. Completely lost motivation for it at the moment, which was bound to happen eventually. So now it's time for me to spend all my cash on something else, get drunk, head to the strippers, and do a whole bunch of other non car related shit until I'm motivated again.
  2. I've got a brand new 38mm MV-S, complete kit. PM coming your way.
  3. Spotted Martin in Hostile on south road near the Tonsley about half an hour ago... ... The 32 was cooler. Hate to say it.
  4. $250 SHIPPED for the Tial. Got shit I want to buy, so I need it gone!
  5. Really? Looks to me like a garden variety 30xx is the way to go.
  6. Clearly. Feel free to enlighten me.
  7. Lol. I'd rather spend $600 on something tangible. Hookers and blow come to mind.
  8. If it's the car I'm thinking it is, it was salvaged and is now basically a long term resto project.
  9. Inlet for a BOV is always going to be at 90° to the flow. All the examples I can think of are. So where exactly would you prefer it to be?
  10. Mike, give this a read. All the reasons for going BB core (among other things) are listed in there. The bigger reasons seem to be transitional response, and perhaps more importantly, the future of OE turbo development.
  11. I doubt it will swing all the way into the main stream. Probably end up moving less than half that distance. It's one of those 'I'll check it out whenever I get around to it' sort of deals though.
  12. Norrisinium is far too rare for anything other than the man himself to be made of it.
  13. This arrived at my door today; Needless to say, I was pretty excited. 6258, high and low pressure actuators, and exhaust v-band. Boost controller fouls on my manifold. Very cool things, workmanship is very high, as is the quality, can't fault it at all. Gate port is f**king huge for such a small turbo, and the wheels are works of art, could stare at those all day. Spins forever when you wind it up by hand. And the locking tabs for the turbine housing are a brilliant idea. Can't wait to get it all fitted.
  14. f**k YEAH! NEW TURBO!
  15. I used to love Rusty Slammington. Then he chopped the roof. The stupid gold plated wheels I could deal with. The horrible f**king roof chop is where I drew the line. Specs of wheels, Damo? This arrived at my door today; In it was all this; How excitement.
  16. Hopes and dreams?
  17. Who rocks 235's on 20's these days? 205's stretched on for the drifter look is where it's at.
  18. If only he had them in a size more useful than 235/45...
  19. Is the gate a fried rice special too? What brand is it?
  20. Don't hold your breath...
  21. So, I got a call from FedEx about 12 hours ago. My turbo has arrived and has cleared customs. Heaps earlier than I expected, should be at my door some time Thursday.
  22. Injectors are sold! And seeing as my new turbo cleared customs today a full 4 weeks earlier than I expected, for the next 4 days, both the gate and the dump pipe are $250ea!! Get on that shit like a fat kid on a cake!
